Dont get the hate for this card. This might be one of the strongest 2 drops in the game in my opinion. Kepp in mind you get a classcard and classcards are better than neutrals.
Also this is basically the best target for unearthed raptor.
On paper flat out best card of the set so far in my opinion.
This guy actually makes me want to try out tempo rogue again in some kind of raptor like list. Maybe throw in an N'zoth as a finisher in the same vein as antonidas in something like tempo mage.
I decided to make a list of unplayable and game winning class pulls.
Unplayable:
Totemic Might, Demonfuse, Bestial Wrath, Shadowform (Arguable), Anyfin can happen. Ancestral Communion, Shield slam, Bestial Wrath, Sense demons
Game winning:
Tyrion, Gorehowl, Antonidas, Doomhammer, Iceblock (for the freeze mage battle), Truesilver, Swipe, Keeper of Uldaman, Fiery War axe, Innervate,
There are a lot more cards that could go either way. I suppose it's just a question of if the risk of playing a 2-2 for 2 mana is worth the reward. The one thing I noticed was that there is a lot of counters for classes within their class cards. Like sacrificial pact, execute, Iceblock, flare, arguably silence if silences get nerfed, lights justice, counterspell, entomb, and cabal. Don't know if the card is good but it's a new meta so here's hoping.
Terrible card. Goblin auto barber was as good a two drop as a two drop could get for rogue, and it still didn't see play. This card is much worse than barber if you take the playstyle of the class into account and won't see play.
It wasn't though. You needed a dagger out on turn two, then you could play it on turn three by which point you're being inefficient with mana
Except, this card is better than Burgle? A 2/2 (2) card isn't bad. It trades with a fair amount and can't be pinged. In addition, it leans into Unearthed Raptor, so chances are, you get 2 class cards from this.
Worst case scenario is that your opponents burn a silence on this, which is actually pretty decent for the Rogue.

That is what I am thinking about. I had a reasonably effective tempo Rogue deck I was playing for quite a while. It had 1-2 Loot Hoarders as well, depending on the build; I'd definitely try these in their place.
Disagree I think this card is solid, it has synergies with raptor rogue which is a competitive deck and I can see N zoth rogue possibly being a thing who knows until we see the rest of the rogue card.
1 drops trade into this; so expecting it to live to turn 3 is optimistic (look at Cutpurse) so it won't get Raptored. Raptor Rogue isn't a competitive deck. Its not even on the Tempostorm Tier list. Without Nerubian Egg (the star of Raptor Rogue) the deck needs more help than this card. I've eked out an okay win percentage with it in the past but Oil is still much better.
Right now the best 2 drop (if Rogue needed one) is Flame Juggler.
On the other hand though if you play this into the opponents 3/2 and it trades that's instant card advantage for you. There aren't many 1 drops you wouldn't just equip weapon and kill as the rogue rather than playing this into it.
Plus it's one of those rare two drops like knife juggler (for the moment) that stays relevant into late game and doesn't feel horrible to draw.
Why to play this over Loot hoarder? is take a random card from your opponents class better than a card that you put in your deck? is it worth for the +1 health? It could easily be a 2/3..
Exactly, as Priest main playing lot with thoughtsteal, I can tell you this card is bad, will see play? probably since rogue is limited.

As a Rogue main playing a lot with Rogue, I can tell you that this card will see play, because I will be playing it.
Why are people talking about Tempo, when it comes to this card? Literally nothing about this card has anything to do with Tempo. It also doesn't work in Rogue Tempo decks.
It is true that it has nothing to do with tempo but maybe it could be used in Tempo Rogue decks.
A great card. It's a solid 2-drop which doesn't require you needing to play around it, like every other Rogue 2-drop. No combo, no weapon requirement, and you don't need to babysit it like cutpurse.
Finally, Rogue has a 2-drop like pretty much every other class. One that you just throw down on turn two.

Love this card. solid 2 drop for rogue with fun effect, will definitely play with this.

Solid 2 drop. Going to die to a 2/3 minion for free, but you can always use your hero power to ping rest of the minion down. And you get a card!
Overall, not a bad card.
Goddamn... this is strong!
It would be funny if you get Renounce Darkness from this card. Valeera would renounce a different kind of darkness lol
Just the thing we nedded, more tucking RnG....

Blizz want to make Rando rogue a thing huh? I will test that for sure.
8.5/10
good stats, good artwork, good ability

I suggest you guys try playing scarab in rogue too, it's a great card for tempo/combo reliant decks.
