I don't understand why people say Priests are the masters of the silence mechanic. Silence doesn't do enough to make it worth a slot in your deck (Naxx probably wont change that) and Mass Dispel (although powerful) is a major tempo loss at 4 mana.
In WoW, the spell Power Word: Solace is essentially a super-powered Holy Fire. However, "to solace someone" is synonymous with "to soothe someone" and "to calm someone", which is exactly what silence does.
Yeah I'd definitely use it if it drew a card. No reason not to as there will be a lot of things that require silence. It might be hard to put it in a deck though.
IMO, just because priests have the most silence cards doesn't make them the masters of silence. Earth Shock is way better and Keeper of the Grove is so good that just about every druid deck runs with 2 of them.
So yeah, if they added Draw a Card to Silence, even if they upped the cost to 1 mana I'd totally use it when playing priest. Good suggestion.

Actually, Earth Shock and Keeper of the Grove motivated me to make this thread. Seriously, why aren't Druids or Shaman's considered the silence masters? Both classes have a staple card that Silences while actually impacting the field (1 damage or a 2/4 body), so neither is a loss of tempo. Meanwhile, as a Priest, if I want Silence my only real option is Spellbreaker, a neutral minion.

Just change Silence to be more like Power Word: Shield.
This would make me more likely to use it TBH.
Not that I see this getting changed, but in a future expansion perchance.
Unless explicitly stated, my posts are my opinion and mine only.

Card would be a little too strong, but with how lacking Priest is, it's probably ok.

Priest ain't half greedy! You're swiping half the opponents deck already with steals, now you want extras on top? :D
That would be OP - for 1 mana. 2 mana might be fair.
