Just the fact that playing this minion destroys your equipped weapon even if you want to keep your current weapon makes it weak for constructed imo.

If you even want to play this card in cw, then hf. Guess there are better cards to bring. In Patron decks you can forget this card. Only possibility is face warrior and maybe taunt warrior

If this only was a rogue card O.O. In Warrior its so weird because turn two fiery win axe would ovrwrite the weapon. So you would play fiery win Axe which is one of the best card in the game, or this?

However this is a slight sign that Fiery Win Axe might be on the nerf list to come. In a deck without fiery war axe this card brings verry good value. Its a lights justice that summons a 1/1 at the cost of 1 durability.

The deck, were this card has full potential has yet to be found. But the card in itsself is pretty strong.

If u use it with upgrade u will get a 2/4 weapon, which is rvery hard for u to get rid of when u want to use some high dmg weapon like arcanite reaper

Just think about current pirate synergy, t1this, t2 bloodsail corsair(2/3 which gets buffed with weapon) t3 that 3/3 pirate with +1/+1 buff, turn 4 some other pirates and here you get a strong early board presence! Aggro warrior

This card in arena is insane

I'm not sure why it is a 1/1. It's not like it has a random effect that can give you high results (eg Webspinner)

Great card for arena to provide that ping that warriors need along with an extra body to gain early tempo (actually early or late in the game the opponent will have to ping it, hence wasting 2 mana and making his turn weaker). The more I look at it, the more I like it for it.

For constructed, I'm not sure but I'd definitely try it in a pirate tempo deck.

Not great, but it isn't terrible.  It's got a decent synergy with upgrade, but once again, not that great.

It isn't great but it isn't terrible.  It's like a triple ping for warriors.  Upgrade works pretty well with this, it would be able to dish out 8 damage up from 3.

Very good card, imho. Still, because of Fiery Win Axe this may not see play in constructed. 

For arena, instead, this card is really good : people tend to forget that constructed is not the only mode in HS, and blizzard has to keep in mind that too when They make cards. Right now, warrior in arena sucks, this may help some how.

I didn't expect to see pirates in an old god expansion.
