the more I think about it, the more I like this card. At first I thought this was a six drop, and immediately thought how mediocre it was. But because its a 5 drop, and with all the good 5 drops leaving the game, this might have seen play on that merit. Now you have a control shaman's dream effect tacked on.
Overall pretty decent with a good stat-line and a useful, if somewhat bland effect. Also as others have pointed it does have combo synergy with AoE effects like Lightning Storm and Elemental Destruction
This is still 5 mana though... so that means Lava Burst and double Lightning Bolt, but it only heals for 11...
Conclusion: Reno is still better.

I'm just another one of those. You know, those who do things. Things that need to be done by those that do these things in order to do those things that don't do these things themselves. Has the word 'things' lost meaning to you already?
This card could be really good for a control style shammy, I mean think about it, if your losing to agro, and you play this turn 8, you could board clear, heal to full and still have a body. Its like Reno Jackson but more combo-ie. I think this might see some play.
I like it. Gives shaman a way to stay alive into the late game. I don't know if that's enough to make midrange/control shaman work, but it's a step in the right direction.

Good ability and most importantly, it fills the 5 mana slot and has amazing stats. Im impressed ... and a little scared of its power :O

Hallazeal the Ascended + Elemental Destruction = Insanity

Malyshaman?
Alsooooooo...., who told it must be a direct spell? Use aoe and heal for 20 hp.
Why do I feel there should be a purple instead of an orange? Just me?
for 1 less attack stat compared to pit fighterit gains such an amazing and unique ability.

*or my mech mage.
Midrange Shaman lets go! Lightning Storm and Elemental Destruction will see play.
No overload? I'll pass
PS: that artwork is badass!

Malygos Shaman?
So, you say that with combo Auchenai Soulpriest +Tree of Life I can deal 60 damage to myself? Sign me up.
I could see it in a Lightning Storm combo (if opponent has a full board)
I think it will push Shamans to go a bit more "control" rather than full aggro
Wow, people go nuts for those trash forbidden cards, and hate on this cool viable card at the same time?
IDK if it's worth crafting, but I should totally try this out if I pack it at launch.

Damn you snowboarders!
