if you drop it on turn 5 against aggro, its a pseudo taunt... and if ur opponent does trade into it right away, then you basically have a druid of the claw taunt... and thats a worst case for the card. the only time its worse is if you're actually facing lethal on turn 6, in which case no god card is winning you that game.
this is a replacement for reno in a control shaman... and reno shaman sucks because shaman needs to run multiple board clears and hexes. renolock works because warlock has a ton of aoe options... demonwrath, helfire, shadowflame, twisting nether. if shaman can get a soft removal card in the mold of aldor/uldaman, control shaman should be strong

I think it is more another Reno in deck, with them + healing wave you have the most powerful healing in game, put even priest and paladin to shame, only drawback is the lack of a third mass removal, maybe put two Elemental Destruction and mulligan hard for one...
Ok so my question is, will this card work with Rockbiter Weapon and if so will the combined effects from windfury. so here is a a Hypothetical situation
My question is will the shaman player who uses this combo heal for twelve because of the combined spells of RockBiter or heal for 16 which is the full damage that Doomhammer does with this combo?
I'm open to whatever answers/opinions you have for me
Seeing asCrackle is leaving Standard and that they bothered to make this card, I predict we're getting at least one new relatively cheap Shaman damage spell this set.
You realize most of the cards that were strong vs Lightning Storm/Elemental Destruction are being phased out, other than that Control Shaman has excellent early game removal for pretty much any deck.
Not to mention there is probably going to be a nerf on Druid Combo and Tinker is going away, Combo decks were the main problem for Control Shaman, and of course the sticky deathrattles.
There haven't been any cards yet that speed up the meta, in fact quite the opposite has been spoiled so far. We are also losing the best 5 drops so a card like this get even stronger than it would be if Belcher/Loatheb/Healbot weren't gone.
Is this a hint as to what the Shaman's Forbidden spell will be?
"(0) - Spend all of your mana. Deal that much damage to all minions."
And overload that much mana next turn.
I really hope they don't add a ridiculous overload to it. Think of it in comparison to a Brawl or Flamestrike. Both viable cards for control decks. Shaman and Hunter need control tools!

I loled ^^
Seriously though, Shaman was the first hero I got to gold with a looong time ago and I am really hoping Standard combined with WOG can bring back Shaman as a midrange/control archetype
HS Community: Some cards are OP!! Nerd them!!
(Blizzard nerfed some cards)
HS Community: why nerfing!?

new exapansion
HS Community: why there are no exciting OP cards?
Blizzard: You told me that you don't like OP cards...

The card text says "Your spell cannot damage your hero" Kappa :D
I think this card is not so bad.
but anyway, it is not very effective against control decks.
If opponent wouldn't control any minions, you will be forced to play spells towards face.
furthermore, you can't gain any health with lightningstorm.
The people who say this card is bad are too busy circle-jerking each other and casting Rockbiter on their Doomhammer's
I see this making Maly shaman better and possibly sparking the invention of a control shaman.
