I'd sooner call it a strictly worse Twisting Nether. Why would a warlock want to pay two more mana for the same effect, and to top it off, overdraw/get to fatigue first? Why does warlock, of all classes, need extra card draw? It makes no sense.
At least TN doesn't eat up your entire turn. You can, for example, play TN, and then use your hero power as Jaraxxus. Voilà, board cleared, immediately followed by summoning a threat. All in one turn.
It's a worse version of a card that is almost never played. No competitive deck will run this garbage, you're right.
Too expensive, since you spend a whole turn clearing a board, where your opponent has initiative again afterwards. Twisting Nether is still better. Love the art tho.

"Strictly worse" means worse in every way and situation. This is a situationally better/often worse Twisting Nether, nothing "strictly worse" about it.
Could see this played with sir finley that way you still can draw cards even after losing your hero power. I am positive this is a really good card but it needs a different kind of control deck to fit in.
main question is interaction of DOOM! + Voidcaller. If you draw cards before deathrattle procks - than PROFIT!!!
I am curious about this too, the way bane of doom works is the deathrattle procs before the second part of the card happens so i dont think you draw cards then a demon comes into play.

I think it's supposed to work properly with Voidcaller. You destroy the minions and draw the cards (Doom's effect) and then deathrattles trigger (eg Doom must be completed before any other sequence takes place, since it's the first card played)

I like how all the idiots say worse than twisted nether. Yeah because that 2 mana left on turn 10 make the difference right because Handlock and Reno have so many 2 drops right there will nothing happen on turn 10 except a tap. Doom lets you draw 4-5 cards for 2 mana so its better than nether + tap.
You missing very important pont. Aggro and some tempo decks already winning their games before turn 10. So there's huge chance, that you'll don't even get chance to use your Doom. Twisting Nether not only allows you tap/play any weakling from hand, but you at least can use it on t8/9 without Emperor. With him it can drop even earlier.
Good in Suicide/Concede Warlock, but bad in every other deck. The problem is: Warlock does have enough card draw,
Heck, Twisting Nether is also better because it's only 8 mana. With the 2 extra mana you can still play Dark Peddler and have at least a mini board. But after this card you potentially mill yourself. Twisting Nether prevents the enemy to play a large board, with this card the opponent want to fill the board as full as possible without having an empty hand. It is too situational, simply because you can overdraw so much. And the last thing you want to discard is your Reno Jackson.

For 10 mana, this should have been "Silence all minions, then destroy them all."
As it stands, I don't see how this card could be any good without a playable Warlock card that recycles cards into your deck or something.

Spoiler alert! The ability to draw cards actually the downside of this card. The upside is that you can run 2 Twisting Nether and this card.
Should change the name to fatiguing nether and Dave DOOM! For a card that might actually see play
Of course, any deck run this card will use Elise.

Fizzlebang value boys!
Could this spawn a new value/tempo style warlock? Probably too expensive.
Maybe a dreadsteed deck.
Could possibly support a new combo/stall deck. Malygos approves.

Seems like a great topdeck turnaround in arena

Warlock usually have a full hand of cards, so useless, will cause overdraw
This card reminds me some old stuff like...

I can only see this card working in three situations.
1. You have minions that spawn another minion when it dies
2. You combo this with Naga Sea Witch and play it on the next turn.
3. Combolock
