Eh...*shrug* it's ok, but probably wont see much if any play. Tempo healing isnt really a thing, so the scalable effect is actually quite poor. If healing wave and touch dont see play, then I dont see anyone carving out a spot in their deck for this. However, the more cards with this design the better. The warrior and rogue forbidden cards are sure to be quite interesting.
Holy Light sees play in a lot of successful Anyfin Paladin decks and that deck tends to float large amounts of mana on a lot of its turns anyway so this card would be a welcome addition, especially with Antique Healbot out of Standard.
I guess, but Holy Light isn't all that common. It's only really included in a couple of the many anyfin lists and healbot has 2 for 1 value in that it gives you a body and health. I guess it's ok and it's certainly playable, but it's not game changing really.
Almost all of the most recent Anyfin paladins run Holy Light. Some versions even only run 1 healbot and 2 Holy Lights because being able to clear the board and heal yourself on the same turn is more significant than a 3/3 body. Especially since you don't need the body to be able to kill your opponent.
Seriously, imma put a ring on it. Then in ten years imma cheat on this card with forbidden shaping and forbidden flame.
Don't get to excited man none of these forbidden cards are ground breaking there all very mediocre/average/balanced whatever you wanna call it.
Wow blizzard made a balanced card and we shouldn't get excited?? Judging by the amount of whine threads on this forum you'd have thought this should be Christmas come early
This is serious ? i mean, Paladin has a lot of cards without any drawback, like Divine Favor, Holy Light and it will cost 0 mana if Equality still in standard the meta will be very strong for paladin, again.
It doesn't really cost 0 mana, it costs n mana. If you play it for 0 mana you heal for 0.
Yes u're right I forgot to mean it but at the same time the card is not like Arcane Blast that has a good (drawback) condition to be useful, you know, these new "spend mana" card text gives versality to play anywhere but I guess double effect is really powerful but we have to wait more cards expansion to confirm that.

Hey I would generally agree with you man. Except for forbidden shaping (that card is super strong). All these cards are flexible and if they get played that would be the reason, but forbidden shaping is a card you would never feel bad about playing because it scales up so well with the mana you spend on it.
In any case I love these cards for the reason you stated, they are balanced. And my heart sings when i see a flexible card.
generally cards that only heal aren't very good (not counting Priest, because healing can also be damage). Even Shaman's Healing Wave didn't turn out to be as good as most people thought it would be, and IMO that card is way better than this one.
if you're going to have a healing card in your deck, it has to be multi-purpose. Develop a creature in addition to healing (like Healbot, Farseer, Reno) or draw cards like Lay on Hands. Card slots are precious in constructed, and it doesn't seem like you can dedicate one to a card that only heals--it's just too weak and passive--I doubt this card will be an exception.
At first i thought this will be insane with Auchenai, then i actually decided to look at the border to find it was a paladin spell. The healing it gives scales better the higher you go, unlike that mage spell which caps at being on par with Pyroblast, the epic spell. If some form of paladin needed a big heal without the card draw this could be a good alternative to Lay on Hands maybe? I don't play the most paladin so i cant say too much but it seems very powerful.
Also on the Auchenai thing, Priests with stealing will have fun when they pull this from your deck. With Velen established it'd do 40 damage...

Your kind of right in general, but healing wave didn't see play because a slow shamman deck isnt good right now. It wasn't because healing wave is bad, and going forward a control shamman is possible because of healing wave.
I don't like vanilla heal. It's better in Priest where you have some cards taht synergize with healing, but, for me this is meh, just like the Preist one. Still better than the Mage one though.
Do you guys not realize that Healbot is going to be banished to wild...?
The only thing one could really compare this to is Lay On ̶Hands and even that is sketchy. LoH doesn't scale to however much spare mana you have. If Control-ly Paladins become a thing this will see play.
A HUGE chunk of your turns as a Control Paladin is dude pass (or at the very most 1 threat/answer dude pass), so I can easily see an opening for this card. Our primary win condition is attrition through survival and exhaustion. In most control matchups LOH is even considered a dead card because you don't even want the draw into fatigue. I can definitely see this as a one of in control (Reno or Not) Paladin as a Panic Button to stall out the game, an extra splashable spell might even rejustify the Pyromancers and Double Equality.
+1 To Blizz on the behalf of us few Control Pallies still out there.
I'm not understanding the card art.
Someone help me out.

Oops, it's a Pally card. Haha.

exactly well said they don't know anything but tempo they don't realize that the meta gonna change entirely

Not sure if anyone will get this... But. If you click on the link to the original card and look at the name. It looks like it tells a story to me.
A tentacled monster came from teh woods and attacked the village defended by undead Samauri.

Nice. A 10 mana heal 20 with added versatility. I like it.
The Priest one is still my favorite though.

To address people about the tempo loss...

Someone on hearthcards.net made the exact same card before it was realeased and it's rated 3.3. I guess that shows how people feel about this card.
