Looks pretty bad. The damage should be higher than cost for something that can only hit minions. It is an interesting concept though. Maybe it will find a place somewhere like tempo mage to fill out the mana curve, but I doubt it sense there will likely be better tempo plays you could make. Overall I like it though, it is a cool card regardless of whether it is good or not.
can't hit face. Also should be the last card you play for the turn, otherwise you mana-screw yourself. I like how flexible it is at any stage in the game, though. Mage has always struggled to deal with high health minions.
It's efficient but it's not that great just like most epic formula cards they either need some help or a lot of RNG to be amazing. It's more of a early game card because the more mana you use on it the worse it gets for example 7 mana for 7 damage is just bad.
I really like this card just because of how flexible it is. It can work as a bit of early game damage to fill a turn or a good topdeck in the late game to clear a big minion. Spell power would work pretty well with this card too.
So, i could for example have 6 mana and play Acidic Swamp Ooze (2-mana) and then spend the rest of my mana casting this as a 4-mana 4-damage spell? It's an intereting idea, it's like a make-your-own-spell. ...but is it going to see play? My guess would be probably not... Flame Lance hasnt seen play. ...i dont know if its (unlike Flame Lance) versatility or a Big Game Hunter nerf or some of the new cards would change that.
