I dont like the fact that Blizz force us to play C'Thun =[
Just like BRM forced dragons and GvG foever mechs?
BRM was an adventure, not exp. And you dont have 124124 cards in GvG that just boosts your dr. boom for example. While we have 5/12 unveiled cards - c'thun synergies.
Some people are asking for a card that destroys all armor, but then we should also get a card like that for every hero power in the game.
"Deal damage equal to the amount of healing the opponent has done."
"The opponent discards as many cards as he has drawn."
"Deal damage equal to the damage the opponent has done with his hero power."
I don't like the idea.
Except Hero Power is not the only way a Warrior can obtain armor? Also, we already have some heavy tech cards against some archetypes: Ooze and Harrison against weapon, Kezan Mystic, Flare and the new Eater of Secrets against secrets, etc.

I don't think will work anyway, weapon and secrets have more than one hero, if a tech card for armor is made only hits warrior, in mage or druid is irrelevant, is hard to think warrior become 50% of the meta for something like that see any play.
@Isaarou Ooze and Harrison are always effective against Rogue Hero Power yet you don't see rogues crying about it or those cards being used on every deck.Armor is a mechanic and just like every other mechanic it needs a tech card against it, even if like with most of them the tech card is trash.
It seems weakest of all C'thun cards, especially as C'thun decks seem to be more midrange than control, but, if someone will make C'thun warrior, this will be thing to choose.
just wait and see people. it can be good card but i really doubt it would be OP. and if armor remover will be a thing i guarantee freeze mage will be dominating the meta.
It's a card that you have to play in a C'thun deck whereas Shieldmaiden could be played on her own. Though, it's an excellent card to promote a C'thun control warrior deck. I just begin to like this new expansion.
I am quite sure execute/shield slam will get nerfed since they make control warrior unbearable currently they have 4 hard removals for 1 mana with an easy condition.. Shield slam needs a nerf and probably a card that removes armor it's bad vs every ither matchup..
It seems to me that fatigue/cthun warrior is going to be a hard counter other cthun decks in general with the possible exception of Rogue who can Shadowstep their Cthun for bigger impact. Armor up and kill cultists all day long, and when Cthun hits the board it has about the same impact as a freeze mage's spell unleash. When its your turn again: Shield Slam and own his face with Grommash. How big can your Cthun get ? Bigger than 30/30 ? 30 armor is easy for warrior to accumulate over a fight.
Also: Grim Patron is going to absolutely love Cthun.
Rogue isn't likely to be a C'Thun orientated class because they lack the control orientated tools to last long enough. Shadowstep is nice, but it's not going to get you far if you can't stick it out for 20 turns waiting for C'Thun to actually arrive.
I see your point but rogue might get some cards to help with that in this expansion, so i wont write a cthun rogue off quite yet.

Rogue's problem so far was that the removal was not enough due to the sticky minions (e.g. deathrattle is rogue's nightmare). They can pretty easily remove everything else, while playing the strong C'Thun cards (sometimes on curve).

I hope they put Nerub'ar Weblord in classic, because she would be bonkers against C'thun decks
yes.. all 200+ new cards have connection to C'Thun. how sweet is that??
I like this one better than Klaxxi Amber-Weaver. Just gives you ton's of armor to stall for your C'thun turn.. Pretty cool..

Not all who wander are lost.
Less raw value than the druid card, but the battlecry will trigger more often when played on curve. Interesting.
