Cabal Shadow Priest & shadow word: pain is gonna destroy this card- so might not be good for priest match up, but it's interesting that it will be immune to BGH for at least one turn so you will be able to get some value out of it. I think it's an interesting tech card for sure. Also seems like a decent tempo card (if you can pull it off).
It's actually guaranteed value against BGH. It guarantees to get over it's summoning sickness before they can kill it, so in that case it's 7 damage for 5 mana. Silence is a bad thing for it, but I guess that depends on whether or not people are suddenly playing silences again by the time it comes out.
In the current meta it's better than Fel Reaver, and that card sees play.
Of course, ti won't be the current meta when it comes out. :)

Play him in Druid, replace Fel Reaver. Turn three Innervate it out, avoids cabal. Also something cute, with confuse or crazed alchemist you can heal him back to full lol.
So on your next turn, attack will be 7. If you buff its attack, for example with Lance Carrier or maybe Blessed Champion, will the attack become 7 again on your next turn? It should be, right?

This guy actually fits in rather well in a control deck, as he's a solid 5 drop that poses a threat if not dealt with, but that's also early enough in the curve where he can act as a removal magnet protecting some of the bigger things. And also if he eats minion damage, that's less damage going to your face.
And then if he does make it to the next turn, then that's 7 damage going somewhere.
It's definitely something to experiment with, as this card may have strong potential in the right deck.

I agree, it's somewhat similar to fel reaver, it may be played in an extremely agressive deck.

Otk prist is coming
Just better run Tiger 5/5 stealth?
Aldor Peacekeeper wont work against it, its like Stoneskin Gargoyle but the effect is on attack instead
Probably gonna be good in a few aggro decks and maaaaybe just maybe midrange. It's basically a Fel Reaver with no mill drawback
A glorious bundle of salt.

Sorry about that.
And that's when your opponent stops playing him, forever.
Pity.

based on the card text, does its attack get set to 7 at the start of all of your turns? counter to aldor?
Would a vanilla 7/7 for 5 be played, assuming BGH gets nerfed somehow?
Maybe, but probably not. And this isn't even as good at that, and kills you against Priest.
Not unplayable, but pretty bad.
any card can win for you the game if you play it at the right time
