I believe Blizzard will nerf at least 20 cards since they said this will be their biggest balance patch in history!
"Since these cards are going to be in the game forever, they're also going to see a balancing pass with that in mind. Blizzard isn't getting super specific on what's being changed just yet, but if there ever was a time to make some sweeping changes to a bunch of cards with a long-term focus, this is it. Brode has told us that it will be the largest set of nerfs in the history of Hearthstone, with a favorite example of pointing to some Druid decks that will run upwards of 22 Basic and Classic cards, leaving little room for much else. The goal of all this is to have players wanting to play with all the new cards, and fill in any hole with Basic and Classic cards instead of the other way around."
They said It will be less than 20 but more than 2 if I'm not mistaken.
They could always change their mind, I found over 30 cards that need a nerf :) Also they said biggest nerf in history so this must mean a large number :)
Some of those changes are terrible and unnecessary, like making Kor'kron Elite a 3/4. What? Since when this card is a problem?
Also, it is hillarious you only suggested Savage Roar to cost 4 mana... that changes almost nothing dude, and it is one of the most problematic cards...
Perhaps Blizz should just hire Ace1a. I mean he already identified the nerf-worhty cards and the specific nerfs required. Quite a feat without knowledge of the expansion cards. They could save money on play testing the thing as well. I especially like how the nerf list includes 'fixes' to crap cards no one plays anyway Scavenging Hyena, Inner Fire and the piece de la resistance Master of Disguise. Good times.

Well, to be fair, Master of Disguise deserves a nerf, since it has been stated several times by Blizzard that it is a very big problem when designing new cards, considering it could make those with very strong permanent effects insanly broken sometimes.
For example, just imagine if a card like Mal'Ganis was a neutral one... Take a look at this old video, when Amaz got this legendary and Master of Disguise from 2 Unstable Portals:
Also, Animated Armor was going to be a neutral card, but they had to make it a mage class card in the end, just because of Master of Disguise:
Nerfing flurry is kinda meh, rogue won't have oil. Half of the card nerfs would just drop off, because well, with gvg and naxx gone, meta will considerably slow down. I mean it, and well, to be honest, with this cards nerf, like OK, ppl won't bother to put them in their decks anyways ( Half of the basic cards nerf I can't understand( Kor'kron, humility, wtf? ).
At least one class would get a nerf - and it's a druid. Obviously, he didn't get any good GvG or Naxx cards, and the deck is all about ridiculous combo damage. I mean, they HAVE TO nerf him, because if he stays like this, Standart will become Druid vs AllOtherClasses, and there will be no need to play standart then (cause I'm pretty fed up with them at current ladder)
Largest balancing in the game's history doesn't necessarily mean quantity. Could be biggest as far as impact goes.
Really, it bites that they're doing away with Legendaries (I think the good Dr. put them in that spot). Some class Legendaries will be sorely missed.
A lot of your purposed changes seem to be done with slowing the game down in mind. As annoying as Aggro and Zoo decks are/can be, I think they deserve a place in the game, and not strictly relegated to tier 2-4 status.
A few of your changes seem harsh off the top - Shield Slam, while pretty amazing, needs you to be ahead or have triggers - it's losing one in Shield Maiden (GVG set).
Interesting Ideas about some of the spells that can target hero or minion being readjusted. I think Flurry only hitting minions would be awesome, but it would take away a lot of Rogue's burst capabilities thus weakening them significantly.
Nerfing Malygos' Spell Damage would require a reduction in her Cost I'd Say.
We all know FON + SR will somehow be augmented, not sure how, because really that is Druid's main win Condition now.
But really, we just don't know what they'll do, because we have 0 clue as to what any of the new cards will bring us. We just need to be a teensy bit patient.

Thanks for your replies. I know some of you disagree with me and that's fine. I just hope Blizzard nerfs at least a dozen cards and takes our suggestions to mind. My suggestions were made in mind to free design space. For example innerfire in priest could lead to OTK when combod with divine spirit. Also my nerf list includes popular cards that would still be played over the new expansion cards, something Blizzard isn't OK with.

Yeah I heard/read that too. That's such an odd number - "more than 2 but less than 20". WTF?? What kind of random range is that, lol

Free to try and find a game, dealing cards for sorrow, cards for pain.

This is hearthstone were talking about here, random is the name of the game :p
No need to beat around the bush... OP clearly has no idea what he/she is doing and doesn't have a clue on the biggest issues within the classic set.
Hey all F2P players out there! Try out my 100% free deck before trying to call this game pay to win!!!
"3. Inner Fire give a minion +3 attack"
and rename it to Blessing of might, and give it to paladins?
add Rockbiter Weapon to friendly minion only
and Force of Nature costs +1 more mana
edit:
Flamewaker 2/3
Equality costs 3 mana, change to 2 hp
BB Already said its max 20 more likely 2. If you realy go into it propably Force of nature, BGH and maybe owl. knifejugler...rest should be fine.
But all this we nerf the basic set down is just weird, why do we have it as basic set when 90% of cards are to weak to play them, makes no sense.
NIce to know they killed oil rogue :)
Maybe... nah nah nah nah
Most of your nerfs are unnecessary.Piloted Shredder or Dr. Boom should have been in the list instead of them.
Lose yourself~
This is just garbage.
Rotate classic out. Let people who want legacy play the game as is, and let standard be a true dynamic game-mode.

I definetely hope that they nerf LOTS of cards(20 or more) but i disagree with nerfing: Kor'kron Elite, Shadow Word: Death, Bluegill Warrior, Shield Slam, Aldor Peacekeeper, Coldlight Oracle, Scavaging Hyena, Inner Fire, and Power Overwhelming.
