What card do you have that you consider your "Go to" or "must have" in every deck. I think in all of my decks i have a couple Ironbeak Owls. the 2 cast for a silence has proven invaluable when i needed to get rid of a taunt or even even that huge priest buffed mob.
It is always a great sight to watch a double digit damage minion get silenced to oblivion.
I just love my card draw gnomes, so at least 2 Novice Engineers (and oftentimes her bigger cousin for 4) are in my decks. I used to play 2 owls, but sometimes switched to 1owl and 1- 2breakers to even out my mana curve.
Recently I started making more themed decks (heavy choose druids e.g.), which lack on certain fields, but still play pretty well.

But srsly, most of my decks have Argent Commanders in them. Such an awesome charge minion. Aside from them, ironbeak owls, oozes, and novice engineers are good for pretty much every deck there is.
So I'll go with a little more fun card. I almost always throw a Molten Giant in my deck. I tend to play a little more fast and loose with my own HP and pulling this guy out for a few mana along with a taunt minion can make a comeback happen.
It's funny--Trump just rated Elven Archer as the second worst card in the game. To each his own I suppose; personally I don't think it's that bad. Trump also rated Spellbreaker as the best.
My pick would be The Azure Drake--it's strong, has massive utility, and it's inexpensive (under 6 mana).
Stonetusk Boar accomplishes the same thing and could actually have value in a Hunter deck.
Of the basics, Novice Engineer is my go to card, every time I take her out I end up wishing I had more card draw and end up re-adding at least one. Next I'd probably say Bluegill Warrior, guaranteed damage at 2 mana cost can be pretty useful in the early game for control or aggro.
I think that decks are too diverse to say that any 1 card is good in all of them. So I'll go by "most" decks, and even then there are probably decks where other cards with the same effect would do better. My entry: Ironbeak Owl
A silence is useful in most decks, a cheap silence is useful in even more. If I need a silence in a deck (and I often do) then this is the card I look for first. I can very much understand Trump picking Spellbreaker tbh, as it's slightly beefier. Ironbeak after it has used it's silence isn't very impactful. It's upside though is that it's cheap, so you can use it earlier which helps in rush decks and other low mana curve decks. The bonus is that it has added synergy in a Hunter deck.
So, it's probably the card I look at most when trying to create a new deck, but there's far too many card options in HS to say any 1 card is so good it should be in all decks.

Elven Archer for sure.
So versatile.

Shattered Sun Cleric, Dark Iron Dwarf

Shattered Sun Cleric, they really make a difference and often enough two overall popular minions face each other.
Love my oozes but warrior and rogue are somewhat rarely encountered in constructed, at least for me.
