Am like 0-8 and i never get close to even finishing, i've tried all the cards and get steamrolled. Is this just pure RNG bullshit or some certain thing am missing here?
I lost 4 before beating it. Honestly, you just need to get really lucky. I won when I got a bunch of the owls on the first turn and kept drawing them. I was able to always keep 1-3 on the board at a time due to draws.
Well, the only thing I can tell you is wait to do the double AoE until there's a couple 6/6s on the board, or you're almost dead. If they're all the 2/6s don't bother, since they prevent any more from spawning when they fill up the board.
Toook me 3 x tries. Then passed it 2 x times in a row. Important things are to try and draw into the 3 dam to all, while keeping a board presence. Found that the key is to kill the 6/6 asap, you can take 3 x hits from the 2/6 and be in the same boat. Hope it helps.
save your removal 10 dmg for the 6/6 or 4/6 guys, use your hero power once per turn at least and use a spell to deal with what you can till you can stablize, thats what i end up doing to survive normal, dont be afraid to take some minor damage to drop an owl or a taunt for a turn.....
the only thing i really hate are the boulders.....
I only had to do it once, but maybe I got a good draw. I was able between hero power and dynamite and the owl to keep the minions under control early, and sneak in a card draw. Used taunt + hero power to keep him off me in the next couple turns. Eventually he was able to get a lot of minions out, but at that point I had heal and the card that lets you get one turn closer to the exit. Finished with at least a turn to spare, actually.
Don't want to seem like i'm bragging here, but both normal and heroic seemed fine to me. Did them both on the first try. Maybe I got a super lucky draw?
Samesies. First try on heroic. Shamefully, I actually lost normal the first time.
Ähm, is it just me, or is Heroic and noral exactly the same?
Could it be, that its buggy and you get the Heroic twice? Would explain the surprisingly high difficulty compared to other Normals...
Yeah, I didn't see any difference between normal and heroic. Only thing I can think of is that the card distribution in your deck might be different, but it didn't seem like it.
Don't ignore the card draw unless you are in trouble, and heal + speed and 2x speed on turns 4 and 3.. Oneshot it on hc and normal without any issues
Also, hero powering is most likely a bad idea, unless you're otherwise dead. Minions server the same purpose, yet usually have x2 value of the hero power for the cost of a 1 turn delay.
Many people speak about spamming ability, but card draw + 3 damage aoe did the thing for me, with taunts and minions in between. And an ocassional 10 damage at the 6/6. Ability is just the least value thing you have in the fight, and you're fighting a timed value game there. You could say the card draw has even less value, but it provides you with higher value cards and gives you a greater value if used early. And it often lets you burst through the last couple turns, which is super valuable.
I found normal to be one of the easiest normal modes yet (which is saying something since i'm not sure if I've ever lost to a normal mode boss...check that, I think I lost to the egg or rock one in BRM once (can't remember which, but I think it was bcs I was playing rogue and had no way to manage the full boards gradually as needed via heals etc)). heroic was fairly tough, but really just RNG. took a half dozen attempts or so, 2 of which I got to the final turn before it killed me. bad draw or lots of 6/6s spawned and no chance. good draw and mostly 2/6s, and its pretty smooth. I disagree strongly with the ppl saying to use hero power every turn, I feel like its almost never right to use it. I also feel like using the draw spells as early as possible (ie when you're not under pressure bcs he has 8 or less power on board) is HIGHLY advisable. having a full hand means you have a better chance at getting 2 aoes to clear the board when needed, or 2 taunts, or a heal and whatever else you need. and then you can use 2 turn skips at once to get clear.

Took me five times, just all seems to be random.

On normal...How the hell is it easy? Never once have i had so much trouble on a normal boss..

let them flood the board with the 2-6 and 0-3 taunt rocks. then just heal yourself, play minions, and kill off the bigger minions
They're there, I promise.
the normal mode was too easy, the heroic mode was pretty hard and took me couple of times, i just saved the turn skippers and won.
I must be a <removed> because I can't beat him on normal. This is the only normal boss I have ever had a problem with.
Well He draw into bad minions and I just let them live and heal....
weird.
NEVER spend the "advance one turn" card unless it is your last turn.
NEVER spend the +3 cards ability unless you'll be short 2 cards the next turn, even then do it on a "ability/block turn"
first turn use ability + block/owl
2nd turn use +3 dmg to everything, if not then ability + block/owl, or TNT if any 6/6 on the board
3rd turn use ability + block/owl
4th turn use +3 dmg to everything, if not ability + block owl, or TNT if any 6/6 on the board
5th turn use ability + block/owl
6th turn use +3 dmg to everything, if not ability + block owl, or TNT if any 6/6 on the board
7th turn use ability + block/owl
8th turn use +3 dmg to everything, if not ability + block owl, or TNT if any 6/6 on the board
9th turn use ability + block/owl or "skip turn" card.
Should get you there
