TBF that's a little like saying that Tinkertown Technician and Mechanical Yeti are the glue of mech decks. They are good additions to support the mechs, but they aren't the foundation. Hungry Dragon and Blackwing Tech are decent cards but they are the beneficiaries of the yet to be seen Dragon synergy. Right now we have almost zero cohesiveness in dragon tribal, so at least one of the remaining 3 cards needs to really be able to "create" the archetype.

Not really, it can also be the class cards which achieve that goal. Look at Mech Mage. The reason why the mech mage seems to be the best mech deck is simply because of 2 cards: Snowchugga & Gobln Blastmage. Still you are right that we need some more Dragons to be able to create a good Dragon deck. Lets see what happens. I hope to see tomorrow some more cards when the pre-sale is going to start.
actually waiting for neutral cards to make the dragon synergy isnt going to happen imo (even if it does it will require some more class cards to make it more solid).. as mentioned above the class cards will be the cherry of this adventure and we might see dragon related class cards (i really hope for druid dragon minion) .. this is a good direction blizzard are heading and do you know why? neutral cards shouldnt be the backbone of your deck/strategy.. this way many decks start to look pretty similar no matter what class u are playing with (see dr.boom, kel thuzad, piloted shredder for example). If we get more unique class tools it will shake things up even further .
edit: also about my post/attitude i just think that time teached us something (which newer players seem to not know) since naxx release till now so many wrong predictions have been made, not only about cards that are good but considered bad, but the opposite aswell. I just think it's stupid to jump into very early conclussions about what is good and what is bad. it doesnt hurt anyone but it makes you people with the early predictions look kinda stupid
When Naxx finally came out, every Hunter player (myself included) thought that Webspinner was a total piece of shit and an attempt by blizzard to gimp or nerf the hunter class for the Naxx cycle.

Predicting whether or not new cards will be good/bad is far more fun than reading post #1,000,000 on nerf Dr Boom/Mech Mage/ Oil Rogue/ whatever
When i go back and look at my top 10 best cards of GvG list that I made right after the spoils happened, I was laughably wrong. I think only 2 of the cards I had on the list I would add to a new top ten list (Voljin and Mech Warper). But I know for sure I would rather talk about/ read about opinions on unproven cards than read another P2W, Deck Slots, or other over done topic thread
Once all cards are spoiled, just before launch I am going to start a thread, daring all these people to rate the cards on their overall use in decks. Then a month after launch will bring it back up to see how many were just plain wrong. As a way of showing people, you can rate a card 'mathematically' all you want, but with the millions of possible card combinations, then add in 25 million people, and there is no way of truly predicting what the 'meta' will be like.
I am all for speculating about how cards will be good/bad, its the general surge of HearthStone Doomsayers that come out just before every release saying the game is going to be bad and its the end for HS, and that it's not worth their money/time, yet keep playing it anyways, lol. No way in hell this game is going away anytime soon, it's a majority casual game, and that is what's captivating a whole new audience that always wanted to play a TCG/CCG but never had the time/money to learn, yet also drags in quite a bit of long time TCG players too. The HearthPwn community is a very small sliver of the actual HearthStone Community.

Pretty much this.
Feel free to speculate, feel free to guess, but for the love of god, don't be convinced that you are right. There are only a few cards I was right about when it came to GvG. I was dead on about Goblin Blast mage (basically a combo card, I see a lot of folks saying card A. will be bad cause it needs to be combo'ed), and was dead on about Sludge Belcher, and I thought Dr. Boom was good but good god I had no idea how good he actually was. On almost every card after wards I was very wrong.
I think instead of deciding whether a card is good or bad, just decide whether or not you would use it or not and leave it at that.
Forget Naxx, how about GvG? Everyone remember when Antique Healbot was condemned as a "gimmick" card that wouldn't even see play in arena? Oops.
Needless to say, everyone's gears start turning when they see new cards, but it's just too difficult to anticipate where all the new cards will fall once the dust settles. Cards that look good might turn out bad, cards that turn out well might be bumped out of contention by similar cards that are even better, and seemingly bad cards (Healbot) might turn out to offer the right combination of effects in the right meta. Speculate, sure, but never "make up your mind" until we've seen these cards in action.

If proving others wrong means so much to u, go ahead.

Oh I intend to start off with my predictions too, lol. Not so much about proving wrong, than learning that it is quite hard to predict the meta game. Could be a fun experiment, for a lot of people actually putting it down in writing.

Of course its expected that some cards may turn out to be good or bad. It happened in GVG and Naxx. We all know that we are not going to be 100% right when we evaluate cards. People have the right to their opinions. No sense in getting all worked up about people you don't know talking about a game.

Even still, I think it would be fun to try this out, perhaps in a less vitriol manner. Kind of like office pools and sports lol.

Yeah, I didn't really like Antique Healbot now that you mention it.
I do like your idea of a challenge to see what folks predict about cards. I will surely give my thoughts when the time comes.
