Really hesitant to dust any of my Naxx & GvG legendaries.
I really do think it's possible that these cards will somehow be brought back into standard rotation, I have a hard time believing Blizz won't try to benefit from the $$ they'd get by making old content relevant again.
Bad players will be dusting/have already dusted Naxx and GvG cards.
I dusted everything from naxx and gvg, why would i keep them? They will just print new cards instead of making old content viable in standard again.
Standard is the future wild is just for people who want to try stuff out but it will never be a competitive format.
I guess im bad.
Ok have fun dusting your older expansion cards every time a rotation happens. All you are doing is limiting/forcing yourself to only play one format.
The only format i care about so its fine and on top of it the only format that is competitive.
Thanks man ill have a great time
1) That was legitimately a great response. Thank you for staying polite. (Unlike me)
2) Actual points: Saying Standard will be the only "competitive format" is extremely closed minded. There is a reason MTG has Standard, along with Modern and Legacy. (Not to mention EDH/Commander, etc) People will find a way to keep Wild format fun and competitive regardless. And it was stated by Blizzard that Standard for HS was created for newer players joining HS that didn't have all of the cards ever made. The smaller card pool helps ease them into the game, having less things to memorize. Subsequently, current/older players who didn't like seeing certain cards all jumped into Standard.
The Innervate/Loatheb combo in this weeks " Top 2" Tavern Brawl was fun.
I am only planning on dusting Maexxna. (Feugen/Stalagg were used in my Renolock, so I will only disenchant then if I replace them.)
Even though I expect to mainly play Standard, Wild is probably going to be useful for getting quests done quickly. If I have overpowered decks and don't rank up in Wild, should have a win ratio much greater than 50% for quests that I do there. So keeping Dr. Boom is worth a lot more in frustration reduction than another Standard epic.
I dusted pretty much everything but KT. He's carried me through half the heroic adventure bosses with the taunt+KT AI break so losing him would be preeeetttyyy bad.
For me as I took a break from the game during GVG, I've lost all those cards, which means I want to keep the ones I do have.. I don't like the idea of disenchanting cards from the adventures either. Some of them may help when nailing heroic modes too.
dust everything from naxx and gvg if you are not playing wild format,i dusted everything the day standard patch hit, wild is for casual players so not interested in that format,or you can keep them if you want, for sentimental value, but its waste just to keep cards you are not playing when you could use the dust to craft playable cards you dont have,i dusted all gvg and naxx even tho i have all the cards in classic set and old gods, its your choice, for me nothing has sentimental value if i cant use them for play i can use them for dust, that is it plain and simple, dont let anything go to waste

you are, because everyone seems to forget about tavern brawl, and adventure mode..... where there is no standard.
Durp.....and yet you will probly still come back on here and nerd rage after the fact that you get wrecked in Brawls becase you aint got no cards..../facepalm
Durp.....and yet you will probly still come back on here and nerd rage after the fact that you get wrecked in Brawls case you aint got no cards..../facepalm
i can assure you man people that dont play wild most likely have forgotten that the brawl button even exists,me personally i havent played brawl game maybe in months, and the adventures the AI is so screwed you can beat any boss even with basic cards,i know coz i have tried for science
Im going to take a middle ground and dust all the duplicates that I have so I can still use them if I feel like play wild or for tavern/adventures. Anyway I've seen a lot of people talking about them recycling them in which I don't think they will do, they may reprint cards likelotheb, but you would have to recraft that anyway so that's not a really good reason to keep wild cards.
Dusted EVERYTHING. I will never play Wild. It's always possible to win a brawl without specific cars (+ I hate tavern brawls lol) so it's just free dust for better cards :)
I'd say if you no longer want your Wild format cards, or if you feel like you would rather have the dust to get something new, then by all means dust them. If you have reservations about it, put it off and see how you feel later on. It's your choice and what anyone else has to say on the matter will probably only reflect their own personal opinion, which likely has very little to do with your own situation.
That being said, I have only 2 GvG cards (Pilot Shredder and Antique Healbot) but I have chosen to keep all of my Nax stuff simply because I never know what I'll be playing in the future, or which cards will be useful/fun in some Tavern Brawl...And I couldn't imagine spending dust to try to get back cards I already had that I wasn't incredibly fond of in the first place.
Srsly its you collection, do what the fuq you want, I couldnt care any less. But ppl saying, yeah DE all you crap , Stand-turd is where all the "pros" play, is just stupid.
And dont give me this casual player crap and you need cards. What you are really saying is that you're a "free to Play" leech and you dont want to buy packs....srsly....thou....I am also a casual player, i managed to save up 6k gold just from dailies + dik'n around and just spent 50$ on the pre-release.....and pretty much have every OG's cards....so spare the sob stories.
Hands down....DE'n your old cards is dumb. Wild is not dead. There are more modes to this game than just Stand-turd Ladder grind.
but u gotta take note that Naxx/GvG gonna come back when BRM goes out of rotation. so yea.. i dont think u would want to recraft adventure cards.. or that precious Dr. Balanced
I only dusted maexxna because its shit

I'll keep mine just in case if the class I play sucks because of certain cards moving out of standard
