With the new discover a hero it replaces Majordomo rogue and make it easier to pull while having also +20 HP

Slow combo but easy to pull too, you play x2 evasion for survability and x2 Cloak of shadows, only need potion of illusion and the hero and you're done

Nope. Tier 3 at best I suppose. Not enough synergy and way too expensive compared to other better plays from other classes. By the time you pull this combo off you are dead.

For wild that's way too convoluted. You'd be forced to limit your rogue cards so Tess never kills herself and prevent hand size issues. You need to draw and play those cards first. There's just much dumber stuff possible in wild.

Becoming not-Rogue reliably makes Tess much better, like Jace Darkweaver on crack in a class that's good at bouncing. But that's still not good enough for wild. Maybe in standard, though I'm not sure a "full Tess Rogue" that goes in on that will supplant excavate rogue (which already runs Tess), or if the two will manage to mix.
