People who cry about opponents not playing what they want just because they want an easy time should play vs the ai in practice mode. Do not expect other people to play what you want or expect, grow up. Everyone has the right to play whatever they want.
and everyone has the right to shit/complain about what they play
Which is childish, inmature, infertile and silly to complain that people in casual mode do not use the deck you want to win against. Just create a campaing "only meme decks" so people with ladder anxiety and casual anxiety can enjoy the game.
I know it may sound harsh for some people what I am saying, I mean no offense. But the thing is that Hearthstone is just a game, it does not matter at all if you win, lose. If you reach top 50 legend your life won't change, if you lose stars in rankend your life won't cahnge at all. Unless you are pursuing a career in eSports, spending mental, emotional energy, getting salty or anxious over a game is not worth it. It is not like those people that uses tier 1 meta decks in casual are a chad irl. Or people that fail with meme decks are going to lose their family, job or whatever for losing in HS.
In casual mode if you see a tryhard and do not feel like playing against it, just concede and move on, you do not lose or gain anything from it.
I like the “I mean no offense” there following an extensive enumeration of pejorative qualifiers about people who complain about certain play styles. “Your mom is a lying, thieving, smelly whore, I mean no offense, though, of course.” Next time around, maybe consider not misrepresenting other people by saying they’re “crying” when they complain about something. It’s belittling. Same thing with “grow up”, it’s also belittling.
Complains from the userbase can be valid and lead devs to make necessary adjustments. There’s this trend going on to discredit every complaint as crying. It’s a convient discrediting tool: oh, he’s just crying, disregard.
Just putting this out there, if your goal is to really mean no offense. Because, as it stands, it comes across as barely veiled contempt.

Ok, I will change my wording next time, english is not my first lenguage, if someone feel offended I apologize. I really mean no offense to anyone, I just want to point that complaining about a casual mode, where there is nothing important and valuable in stake, is futile as the mode is there for people to play whatever they want and not feel presured to win.
Most of the people I know just use it to complete quests and polish their lists before jumping into ladder. By the way, if anyone is interested in tournaments, the best way to test your deck is with scrims and ranked.
the way i play is simple i give u what ever time u need and i don't care but i want all the time i want and that's all i care about if i decide to leave u on 1 hp and u don't do anything and u're still the game I don't care because i'm farming exp off u i don't honestly care about ettiquette i have auto squelch and all i care about is getting the right things. exp rewards. you don't have to stay if you don't want concede button is there if you stay well it's at your peril . if you dont like the match up cuz it's just casual just straight away concede who cares u lose no ranks or stars it's just a waste of your time so why don't u go do things u do like like queueing till you hit the right match up? that's my take on it cuz i just honestly don't care
Blizzard should create a new format... for people who want to play fundecks... and they can do this by banning certain cards in the format, being wild, or standard... and every month the banlist gets extended with most played cards in this format... and unbanning cards from a class that is very little played... a dynamic banlist so to speak...

I'd never use that mode, though, because when I feel like playing a casual game of Hearthstone with whatever deck I feel like playing and no ranks to be gained or lost there's already a mode for that.
I'm aware that some players have created their own set of informal rules about what I should and shouldn't play in casual, and that those players might be upset when I break their rules. Some might even send me a friend request and try to explain their headcanon to me after the game, and others will just tell me to die of cancer, but I really couldn't care less about that.
To engage with your point a bit more seriously, though, I don't think that would work.
For example, I've mainly played variations of Curse of Agony warlock since that card came out I think during Barrens.
It's a bad deck, the sort that I think no one would disapprove of it I was to play it in Casual, but I just think that card is cool and I've had a lot of fun with it.
Key cards are Brann, School Teacher, Lady Darkvein, Tamsin Roame, Dreadlich Tamsin. Removing any one of those cards would tank its already poor win rate. Those are all super strong cards though, the sort that might get banned under your system.
Even bad, fun, memey strategies need good cards.
So even if I accepted in principle that it's wrong to play whatever deck you want in casual, I wouldn't even be able to play my crappy home-brew decks in your proposed format.
Quote from original poster: ‘Maybe it's just me but I think it's kinda bad manners to go into casual with decks that aren't...casual?’ Yes, you did notice that’s ‘your’ opinion? Anything that’s not ranked goes to casual, people can play OTK, TTK, non-meta, meta, all 1-cost, greedy control, highlander, all battlecry, daily quest finisher decks, etc. Unless Blizzard subdivide the game modes into more, you can’t just say people bad manners by their decks, but intentionally roping is. Don’t force people what to do, just like you can freely play your decks in ranked or casual mode.

Playing off-meta or wacky or whatever decks in HS is probably not a good idea in general. There is just no environment for that in the game anymore, and it's been like that for a long time already. But I think Arena mode is a good availability for mixing the things up and just play your hand. But this, of course, if you don't care that it's not free.
Well, maybe “bad manners” is strongly worded. People just have different understanding of what “casual” means since it’s the only indicator as to what the mode is supposed to be about. It would make sense for casual to offer a different experience than standard, ranking non withstanding. Therefore, using S tier ultra competitive decks in casual seems a bit shortsighted since it’s not really… casual?

The experience is different: there is no pressure about the result. It's casual play mode, not casual deck mode. Those who play ultra competitive decks (aka normal decks) are likely to play more casually in this mode.

Just to Play Devils advocat, there would be a way around this "Problem", though it would be very Labor intensiv to implement and even then it might Not yield the results you would hope it to get: Blizzard would need to make there own statistik Public, in the Form of something Like hsrplay, where you can See the top Decks even in standart listed with exact Decklist. Then they make it so, that If you Press Play with a Decklist of the say top 20 Decks/Variations that are in the Ranking, you will get a Message: "Not possible because of meta resistrictions in casual, your Decklist needs to differ in at least 5 cards from one of the top 20 lists at this Moment. As Seen on -link to website-"
But even If you did this complicated silution, which they wont, and which also obvious from this thread ist Not what everyone wants, you will still Run into other Problems. Because it will nor Take Long and there will be while seperaten Meta und this new Gamemode, where ofc there are then other imbalanced overpowerd decks.like a new Tier S for casual. For example lets say Mine warlock ist Not in the top 20 Decks of Standart cause it geht's farmed be other decks/Variations from the top 20 to hard. Now without those Decks people will Play it in casual to Farm all those homebrews people dream of playing...
So all in all, I dont really See a solution aswell, might aswell keep it is...
