Just looking for tips or advices, as I am completely blocked now. I have reached legend 3 times, long time ago with face Hunter, lately with pirate warrior and quest Hunter, but the last to seasons not only I am unable to get to legend, but I am constantly dropping to diamond 5. I am able to reach diamond 3, but bounce back all the time. I play quest Hunter and pirate warrior but cannot win constantly to climb. I have tried the new rogue, but it is the same story. Don't know what's happening. Anyone going through the same?
Pick one (1) deck that you can pilot at over 50% winrate that you can also stomach playing for an extended period time, set aside a day or two uninterrupted (weekends are good for that), then play non-stop. At a +51% winrate, any deck will reach legend with enough time.
Then, once you get it, vomit and sob uncontrollably

As depressing as it sounds, this is the best advice. I've tried Quest Hunter this month and had some success with it but couldn't break out of D2 with it and so I changed to DH and stuck with it. DH can win any match up, Quest Hunter is too match up dependent and that was the nail in the coffin.
keep track of your stats to see what you are facing regurarly while playing one deck only
if most of your encounters are a certain deck type, try to use another crafted deck that is good against that main encounter
only switch is your WR falls below 55%, or below 60% is you really hate that deck you are playing :D
I wouldn't switch deck before you have at least 50 games in with that deck you play, which might take quite a while it is not only to get more accurate stats, but to see if you have misjudged the encounter you are losing against and actually figure out that you can win it with small changes in your game play
just play for fun thats my advice there is no point to go to legend anyway
Yes, once you've been to legend once, why repeat the grind? There's no more big reward for you. I got there, got my legendary, and now I stop at D5 every month for my free epic.
Click on the link, if they can do it, you can too, copy a deck, and start playing...
my extra tip... time management... aggro decks get to legend faster... if you need 100 games to reach legend, a deck that takes 5 minutes to play costs you 500 minutes, thats a bit over 8 hours... a game that takes you 15 minutes, costs you over 24 hours...

Totally agree thers no point of getting desperated tryng ti reach Legend, sience u reach It once is pointless grind and dont enjoy the game, thers no difference btween the rewards. My advice is once u reach Diamond chill, play the decks you enjoy, try new things and just have fun, this is just a game :)
Thanks everyone for the advices and ideas. I play HS mainly while on the gym between sets, so I prefer having a goal to keep me entertained while training, otherwise I bore as hell there, that's the only reason to keep grinding for legend, because as you say, just one more pack doesn't worth it.
I'll try DH, at least it'll be fun trying a new deck I haven't played before.
I have considered as well to try to climb in standard, never went further than platinum, but I am unable to enjoy that meta...
I think people recommending you to try DH thought you were talking about standard, failing to realize that this post is in the wild section. I'd say don't as DH sucks big time in wild.
Anyway, regarding your initial post: Quest Hunter is not in a great spot right now. One reason is popularity of mech decks (casting a damage spell on a divine shield minion doesn't damage it making it tougher to progress your quest). As for Pirate Warrior it is now outclassed by the better pirate deck, which is Pirate Rogue, which would be my recommendation for a deck to easily climb to legend with (fast games, more than 50% WR). Below is the list I have played a bit

DH is probably the best if you only have 3-5 minutes per game, and it really doesnt require much thought to climb efficiently.
If you're playing wild rogue should be very fast to climb with, though I guess DH can cause it problems with pufferfist
Sadly the only advice we can give you is to pick a deck you think is consistent and effective, maybe with practice you'll get a higher and higher winrate with it. You don't need to win every game ofc, just more wins than losses and you'll eventually get to Legend
indeed this season the legend climb is harder, not sure whats the main reason, maybe many good players returned to play HS because of rotation so competition is tough.
in the end of the month its easier to climb.
I suggest to use meta decks that you enjoy playing, also aggro is much more efficient compare to control decks (long games in mirror) next month should be easier..

You're playing tier 3 decks, that's the reason. You may play perfectly but without deck quality you can't climb efficiently. Join the DH horde and you'll see results instantaneously, trust me.
If you're talking about wild, my bad. Quest hunter is still decent and should get there I think but with more play. Pirate rogue should definitely get there and pirate warrior just sucks, it's tier 3 (at best) in wild, too. You can get there with it as well although I'd say it's the most difficult path to legend out of your options.
I got legend this season with Evenlock although the horde of C'Thun druids was a bit annoying. Had 10 stars bonus so I had to get legend the old fashioned way.
One suggestion would be to not change decks too much. It's the most common mistake people make when climbing to legend or generally want to climb. You have to play the same deck, learn its matchups. If you play a deck much better than the average it's so much better than just hoping to queue into the deck you want to counter because you can learn how to beat unfavorables, too.

in the end, persistence is key
My experience is that you stop encountering that deck…
I'd agree. This isn't just a rock paper scissors meta. It's totally polarized matches for some of the meta decks. With some massive hitoll decks.
There's a serious part of me that misses the old days of board swings and thoughtful plays. Now if your face is open...
I agree that DH probably has the most consistent decks vs all other classes.
Yes, once you've been to legend once, why repeat the grind? There's no more big reward for you. I got there, got my legendary, and now I stop at D5 every month for my free epic.
Just grind quest hunter and you'll get it eventually. Don't play pirates, it's pretty bad right now from D4 and up.
Just play Naga DH
Easy Legend for me last and this season.
top decks
