Right now, mill rogue is already pretty decent, hovering at low tier 2 to high tier 3 (higher if you are a good pilot), and there are a surprising amount of cards in the new set that could be new toys for mill rogue.
Paralytic Poison could enable a kingsbane variant of mill rogue, either alongside Envenom Weapon or other weapon damage boosts.
Wicked Stab is very efficient late game removal, and since mill rogue usually plans to go past turn 10 anyway, it could be rank 3 quite often.
Efficient Octo-bot is a decent 2 mana body to combat early 1 health minions (looking at you, odd pali) as well as make your hand much easier to play, and hand dumping is great for mill rogue.
Far Watch Post could actually be gross in this deck. Will always increase at least 1 card's mana, so its basically 1 mana at a base level, and if you play this alongside Coldlight oracle, you could slow down the opponent's ability to hand dump significantly. Having 2 of these on board at once could be devastating.
Death's Head Cultist is a great way to heal and contest the board a bit, and isn't too bad to resurrect with N'Zoth. Arguably better than Deathlord since you won't have the "summon a giant from your opponent's deck" games.
Mor'shan Watch Post is basically Tar Creeper with upside. Since one of the main weakness of mill rogue is board flood, this could be a great way to counter that weakness.
Scabbs Cutterbutter is perhaps the most ludicrous combo enabler ever. Playing this alongside brann, oracles and shadowsteps will be crazy.
Taelan Fordring could be the card which enables the N'zoth variant to be consistent enough to be good.
Any thoughts? Agree, disagree? I know aggro will get some boost with some of the nerf reverts and new cards like the paladin rank spell, but with some of these new cheap anti-aggro tools, it might not prove to be as big of a problem as expected.
lol no Mill Rogue has like 20% matchup against most aggro decks and it isn't going to improve with few anti-aggro cards. Nobody in wild cares about your "Tar Creeper with upside" they will end the game before any of that 2/2 matters.

Not true. its more like 40% on average. I have 65% against odd pali and darkglare, 60% against kingsbane, 40% against odd rogue, 25% against odd demon hunter, 15% against pirate warrior and token druid, neither of which are super common. Also, all my aggro matches last to turn 7 at a minimum because of evasions and cloak of shadows. Only exception is loatheb.
I'm looking forward to Mill'Zoth with Taelan, my biggest problem with the deck is the lack of balance between the amount of N'Zoth support (which includes surviving to late game) with the Coldlight support, you can't really swap your gameplan during the match, but with the many mana discounts Rogue is getting this expansion I think it's pretty reasonable to both mill the opponent AND hide behind a wall of healing.

I love you Dreadsteed, I will never disenchant you!

yes, the Octobots and scabbs will for sure make hand dumping easier for n'zoth mill rogue! Looking forward to trying out both versions with the new cards
