I'm at rank 5. For every 3 games I play, 2 of them is vs Secret Mage. Secret Mage is broken as hell and I am in so much rage right now. Please tell me some decks that I can beat the s##t out of these Secret Fu#####.
I have played a fair share of Secret Mage myself at this point and I can confidently say that the deck has very little bad matchups or actual counterplay as far as I am aware, mainly because the cost reduction is too good and Counterspell protects from quite a lot of counterplay that would normally be legit.
Really the only time I got completely stomped was against a singleton even hunter player with Flare and a beast/hero power synergy theme. They completely out-lucked me, though, with Coin into Phase Stalker into HP giving him Pack Tactics into which I had to attack. I feel like there is an armor-heavy druid or warrior control list out there that could crush the deck because, while it has quite a lot of burn, the number of damage tools is low enough so that you could outheal and constantly clear the board to win. And I am not yet sure about the matchups against cube or renolock, but that might be a thing. Odd Paladin is also not terrible against Secret Mage, but you need to high-roll your early turns like a madman while at the same time not offer too much value from Flakmage (or dodge it completely, as if that was a possibilty).
Yeah, odd warrior can be built in such a way that it basically doesn't lose to secret mage.
Keep enough cheap spells in the deck such that when you need to punch something thru counterspell, you can.
I would probably build it like a circa-2019 mech warrior with Dr. Boom hero card as a win condition. Though against secret mage, more often than not you'll win by fatigue . . . or concession when you hit 60 life.

Enjoying Americans winning in the Olympics is forbidden because it is political. A 14 plus page discussion of state-sponsored lawsuits against a multi-national corporation based on harassment, discrimination, and wrongful death allegations is apparently not political enough to raise an issue.
Pirate Warrior performs great against Secret Mage and is overall a decent deck in the current metagame. Renolock is another deck that does ok against Secret Mage (with a winrate around 50%) and is also a deck that can afford to run various tech cards. Given the popularity of Secret Mage at the d5-d1 ranks, adding 1 copy of Eater of Secrets wouldn't be a bad idea and would probably tilt the odds towards Renolock (I'd guess it would be a 55%-45% matchup)
At least if it was remotely hard to pilot it would have been playable. But the deck is fuckin braindead. Even decently bad players can go top 100 wild legend playing secret mage only. It's so fuckin sad
Just wait for the nerf to hit, or join them. Deck is way overtuned. Every single card of the deck is overpowered.
I've reached Diamond 5 with Secret Mage... I am just tired of playing with it. This deck is so OP that the game just felt boring for me. So I've tried other decks and i just can't have fun anymore because most players are playing with Secret Mage at ranks d5 to d1.
Anti aggro renolock was strong this Season. U don't rely on spells to contest the board, then it's easy to play around his secret. Your taunt deathrattle heal keep you alive and your late game Galganis/N'Zoth/Guldan seal the deal
Dragon rogue with Deathwing, dragon lord. You’d be surprised, but my win rate is extremely high against secret mage with dragon rogue. Secret mage generally can’t kill you by turn 6 or 7, and they have no way to deal with a giant board of dragons.

I've been playing Hearthstone for 5-6 years and this is my must nerf list: Cloud Prince, Explosive Runes, Kabal Lackey, Ancient Mysteries, Occult Conjurer and Counterspell.

odd paladin works pretty well
To live is to suffer, to survive is to find meaning in the suffer!
Yeah I feel you. Between sessions at garbage legend were I try experimental decks, I take breaks were I just farm them assholes.
Take a walk on the wild side...

Odd Demon Hunter, for me =)
Renolock probably the best choice.
25% of my games last season vs mage, I won 63% (climb to rank 5 included, dropped to 57% in diamond) against them.
Drawback: You can basically concede vs Priest. Or need luck and god draws to to mess with their res pool and deck early.
Nope.
