I have tried doing a turn 3 kill before, but I suppose that's pretty much the limit ;)
Those token druids can really just high roll the crap out of you XD
So about the current state of this game.. why even bother releasing cards that cost more than 3 mana if you are likely to not even be able to use them?
I'm pretty sure there's a highroll deck that can kill on turn 1. The deck is by no means competitive, because the combo is extremely unreliable, but you can probably find it on youtube.

Well there will always be games where luck decided the outcome from turn one, but maybe a game where you play renounce darkness against the most aggressive deck in the game, isn't the best sample to conclude the state of the game :)

I was sure somebody would eventually run out of arguments and mention my deck, like it completely doesnt matter that 90% of other decks would just die to this high roll.

If you had drawn some proper responses like soul sheer, school spirits, fel bolt and defile it might have looked different, but again, If your start hand is garbage and his the bomb, it's pretty much decided from the start. Maybe I was being too nice before, judging from your tone. You played renounce darkness on turn 3 against an aggro deck, while warlock by himself has some of (if not the) best anti aggro in wild. Maybe you should just try a few more non-meme games before you generalize the state of the game. Just a hint for next time you try to throw a 90% statistic
No, that opening is NOT an autowin for token druid, and it wasn't actually the nuts. Token druid is viable, but the Voracious Reader nerf makes it a tier 2/3 deck now.
Yes, it matters what you play. Earlygame removal and/or AOE is an absolute must for any slower deck in Wild.

I remember having played agaianst a druid combo deck that killed me turn 1.

Not to downplay what certainly was a pretty miserable experience, but you could play decks that actually take the meta into account, instead of a pure RNG fest.
This particular case of highrolling would have been hard to survive for most decks, but not impossible. I can somewhat reliably beat Aggro Druid with my version of Even Warlock. And I do want to see more cards that cost more than 3.
And to put this whole thing into proper context. I struggle seeing a point in cards that can't potentially win you the game before turn 6/7, when every 3rd opponent is a highlander deck or just Priest. I don't like these all-in aggressive decks either, especially when they miraculously only draw cards in the order they need them, but I can't blame people for playing them, since the extreme opposite of an unwinnable lategame (outside of OTKs) isn't much fun either.

Record was t1. Before kaelthas nerf it was possible apm opponent to death on t1 with UI and other spells.

Should've played around it.
Double Dust Devil with coin, turn 3 Flametongue Totem was a very rare thing in vanilla Hearthstone, that's 12 damage on turn 2 + 20 on turn 3.
I mean, you can get lethal on turn 1 if opponent plays millhouse lol.
Otherwise hmm
Tunnel trogg, coin tunnel trogg
Lightning bloom x2 x2 lavaburst
30 damage on turn 2
Lavaburst deals 10 damage total. Each trogg has 10 attack
There’s also playing gnomferatu on turn 1 and burning their win condition
The record is turn 1, they play double embiggen and I concede
Before Kael’thas nerf it was possible to OTK your opponent on turn 1 using Barnes and a ton of highroll. There’s a video on youtube
Just a normal day in wild.
Your deck looks like tier 6 range btw.
I actually recently made 2 secret mages conced on turn 2 with coin-lighning bloom-ancestral calling-Colossus of the Moon (they pulled a 4/5 drop.)
Devolve beats most embiggen openings, as they often have very weak follow-ups.
