Wild Aggro druid is the most played deck at high wild ranks, from rank 3 to legend it's literally only druids. Even tho the deck is not impossible to deal with ,like naga lock, darkest hour warlock and many other decks of the past but it's obvius that this deck is too powerfull atm.
Nerfing it to 1 mana will slow a little the deck and also won't kill it, another nerf that maybe could be done would be gibberling at 2 mana.
It's not a ranting post, I am myself at top 500 legend atm with a broken deck too, painlock , but i feel druid is like the pirate warrior of the past .
A lot of people play token druid because it's fast. You either win or lose by turn 5. But overall the deck has around a 55-60% win rate. Odd paladin is only slightly slower usually winning around turn 7 but currently has a 60-65% win rate. I would sacrifice 2 turns for an extra 10% of games.
wild nerfs only come when the problem card isn't interactable, and even then it takes 2 years of "monitoring". sorry sport you wont get anything for embiggen.

And then, they nerf embiggen and u cry in a corner. Just wait and see it.
Hope they nerf that shitterling to 4 mana if possible

I wouldnt care if they nerf it or not, I'm just stating historical behavior.
It's good to have aggro in the meta as they make the games fast, and by turn 5/6 game can be over.
Aggro druid is too consistent in my opinion tho and it's very rare that they have a fucked up start, so nerfing gimberling to 2 mana and embiggen to 1 mana will make it less consistent but still top tier deck to grind with.

It's not good when the outcomes of games are effectively determined on turn 1. Druid does that better than any other class, with consistency.
I wish Embiggen hadn't been a 0-mana spell, and that Blizzard would stop printing 0-mana spells that are so powerful, but nerfing it now is just treating a symptom, and doesn't really solve the bigger, ongoing problem in Wild.
That was also a very good card in standard, though. Embiggen's completely fallen out of favour. And it was a very weird nerf that I think was more to prevent the card becoming a big problem in the future than it was because of it's current power level.
I don't think they buffed it enough to compensate for the loss of half of it's power, but I think there was an attempt to preserve it in some form.
Agree. I see only'turn 1 embiggen, pirate 2/1, patches 3/3'. Wow. So interactive! So fun!
Ok then when you see that try saying to your self that this will happen only few times out of many games!!! better than believing that this deck can do this every single game and closer to reality and better state of mind playing....
a highroll and win deck is always welcome in HS and its fun, im ok with it while im not ok with discover mechanic highrolls and priest's bs. talking from the wild side of the modes.

Being able on turn 1 to do Embiggen plus Southsea Deckhand and pull a 3/3 Patches the Pirate or pairing it with Gibberling or Intrepid Initiate embiggen can be really strong and make you way faster.

If you only meet token-druid just play secret mage. It´s the perfect counter.
There is no perfect counter to a deck that can sometimes kill you by turn 4. There are just some 'ok' counters and that's it
Yes. It’s like Blizzard doesn’t care. But they do, right? Right?
Take a walk on the wild side...

They're not nerfing cards that are in standard (where they're not a problem) because of a balance issue in wild. It makes no sense to do that.

Embiggin is still standard and is fine there. You know nothing is going to happen to it until at least April and even then probably not at all.
wild is broken everywhere anyways.

Darkglare says a sad hi...

If Embiggen has fallen out of flavor in standard, then why should anyone care they nerf it for wild?
Druid is a 100% highroll class, so if no Embiggen, that aggro shyte deck is almost worthless. But, Scrap Imp says hi ref mulligan WR.

I agree to the nerf, the card is bonkers and its actually very good it doesn't have Standard support or it would break the whole game.
