Hi all. So I started playing this month for the first time on this account. I had a 4x multiplier, which means that on my whole grind from silver 5 (I am currently at plat 2) I was without any star bonus and facing players of the same rank. Having reached legend a couple of times on a secondary account I know that the 'primary' wild meta is not so varied: Discolock, Raza Priest, Quest Mage, occasionally some Token Druid, Odd Paladin, Secret Mage, Big Shaman, Cubelock and Odd Rogue and that's it pretty much, always the same decks. However on the lower ranks I was happy to see a huge variety of decks (and very rarely most of the ones listed above, except for Token Druid): Jade Druid, Deathrattle Hunter, Reno Hunter, different varieties of Reno Mage, Mech Paladin, Deathrattle Quest Priest, Rez Priest, Big Priest, Thief Rogue (the one with the lifesteal weapon), Mill Rogue, Jade Shaman, Shudderwock Shaman, some weird Zoolock varieties, Big Warrior, Bomb Warrior and the list could go on quite a bit more. Makes it more challenging to mulligan correctly, but I have enjoyed playing wild these past 3-4 days much more than my grinds to legend on my other account. Only annoying thing, at least until gold 5 or so, you also meet many 'standard' decks (and very often Face Huntard or non-optimal Aggro DH)
I'm having a good time in wild at the legend rank. It seems like there's a good mix of tempo, control, combo, and aggro. Sure, you still see a lot of the same decks you mention, but I've been able to climb using a homebrew secret rogue deck that's off meta. I think a lot of players at the higher ranks aren't afraid to go a little off brand. As balanced as the meta is right now, it's almost necessary to give people unorthodox looks, if only to confuse their mulligan.
