Its so irritating that all demons get +2 +2 but when you kill it the demons only get -2 attack and the health stays the same, i think this should be changed so that when you kill it that the minions get also -2 health and not only -2 attack
no. health buffs have always worked this way. same if you silence a health buffed minion - it will be at max health if it had more before. otherwise all minions with 2 or less health would instantly die when malganis is killed. this interaction is intended. added health gets used up first when damaged
as you said. the underlying problem is not the card itself but the mana cheating mechanics that accumulated to become unfair back in KnC when cubelock was created
honestly i feel like he might be up for a nerf. giving him taunt would be good nerf since he already protects your hero from dmg.
why do you think a card that has never been a problem in over 5 years would suddenly get a nerf? a 9 drop should have a powerful effect....
A card 5 years in the game doesnt mean that that card doesnt get better every time a new set gets released... Blizzard only looks at standard when designing new cards, not to wild... So every time a card is created with any synergy with malganis, the card gets better... take Carnivorous Cube as an example, in a vacuum with malganis, Voidcaller and the cube there is little to no problems... add in a card that can destroy your own cube for free ends you up with 2 11/9 minions that both make you immune... add in some extra demons that give taunt, that protect your malganis, then you are actually in a situation that you cannot loose unless there is targeted removal or mass boardclear...

I think the main problem with cubelock is being able to so easily kill off their Voidcaller and Carnivorous Cube with Plague of Flames. Flames is way too good for 1 mana, the downside of killing your own minions is more often than not an upside, giving you a bigger board than you started with. The issue is the card is only used in decks that have minions to spare. Currently only Cubelock and Galakrond lock use the card. Mal'Ganis is really bad if you have to play it for 9 mana on an empty board, it dies to everything.
In deck without Plague of Flames, Voidcaller and Carnivorous Cube leave you very vulnerable to aggro decks, or any deck with a big board and burst. Sometimes when playing Reno lock I have to give up on Voidcaller, as a 4 mana 3/4 is terrible against most aggro decks (apart from secret mage of course).

Lol I agree, it's stupid, but I'm sure it's the same with all passive health buff cards. I don't know if it should be this way.

A 9-drop lol. It is usually cheated on the board on turn 4 to 6, and you tend to face 2-6 of those guys during the game...
But if a card should be nerfed, it is Voidcaller

Tickatus isn't fun or interactive
