I just wanted to know how you feel about the Vargoth-Mage-Quest-Interaction in wild. Do you think there will be a change/nerf soon? And if, in what way?
In my opinion playing against it is pretty frustrating and unfun.
Do you know any deck besides purely aggro decks (handbuff mech pala, Pirate Warrior,...) to counter it?
The interaction is fine and it does not need a nerf or change at all. There are a lot of decks that beat it that are not aggro, like Darkest Hour Warlock.
They will not touch wild. It’s been made very clear by update after update that they have no intention of changing wild. In fact, they are unnerfing cards that are moving to wild only.
Im going to go ahead and warn you about posting something like this. The community here will shun you for this and refer you to the “salt” thread or they will say you aren’t a good player.
That specific interaction should not be possible. Taking 3 turns in a row means your opponent cannot do anything to respond. You have to setup a board and a Loatheb or something similar to kill them before they can do this, which I’ll add is extremely difficult against Highlander mage which has so many removal options and clears. 3 turns in a row is about uninteractive as it gets so you would think they would modify this. It’s extremely oppressive to wild

Can you tell me what it’s like to have your head in the sand ?
You're talking about "a lot of decks" but you're only naming one, which either highrolls and beats nearly every deck in that scenario or loses to unlucky draws.
If there are so many decks, it would be kind if you could name 2 or 3 more to support your point.
Would you be so kind and explain what about a scenario, in which one player takes 3 turns, "is fine and [ ] does not need a nerf or change".
The interaction is played in several decks... but the one i encounter most is with the giant package... you can play every deck and have a chance to win from it with the correct tech...
Tech in cards that destroy secrets (against his ice block) if you play an aggro deck,
Dirty Rat and Deathlord, Hecklebot and Gnomeferatu have a chance to pull vargoth from his deck that you can destroy, or even a giant that you can destroy messing with his chance to win in those turns.
so enough tech cards... maybe not the most optimal ones, but there are tech cards for combo decks...
when a strong deck begins to rise everyone turns to blizzard and ask them to nerf it... its like a little child turns to his mother and tells her that he is being bullied by another kid, instead of standing up and trying to stop the bullying himself... (i know its hard to stop someone from bullying you, i have been in that situation so dont start on this topic)...
if we can tech in cards against specific decks this will cause those decks to gain a less higher winrate, giving people less interest in playing them and choose another deck causing other decks to rise... and this will keep changing the meta...

Dirty Rat wants to know your location.
A version that I know is mech hunter since it is based a lot on Goblin bombs and Metaltooth Leaper that have a very strong initial play.

Also cards like King Mukla, Spellslinger, Tanglefur Mystic, Sap (combine it with king togwaggle for even more fun) and Fishflinger can fill his hand to 10 cards and let him burn a card...
Cards that delay him like cards that shuffle irrelivant cards in his deck like bad luck albatros, Weasel Tunneler, Excavated Evil (even can combine these with augmented elek)
Or you can try to hit cards in his hand, Wild Bloodstinger, Demonic Project, Chaos Gazer, Blatant Decoy...
so enough tech cards... maybe not the most optimal ones, but there are tech cards for combo decks...
