I think it really depends on what you want from wild. If you want to play competitively and reach like rank 5 or legend each month, then you should craft something like secret mage, pirate warrior or any other hyper aggressive deck. Since you mentioned missing the death knights though, i recommend staying above rank 10 and just experiment. You will see a lot more different decks here, and almost anything is kinda viable.
You can just keep playing with the three decks you have so far and get inspired by what other people are playing. Like I said in this bracket almost any decently constructed deck is somewhat viable and the variety makes it a lot of fun imo. As soon as you pass rank 10 it gets more try-hardy, a lot less variety and a lot less fun imo.
Pirate Warrior. Cheap, easy, fucking destroys Big Priests.
Edit: I missed the DK requirement. I must learn to read properly. Warlock is the best DK in Wild imo but the decks can be expensive.
Did you know I crafted big priest? (actually only needed lich king and ysaarj as legendary) hahaha and I am having fun with it.
But I switch a lot between my 3 wild decks, Beast Hunter with DK Rexxar, Big Priest and Elemental Mage.
Which deck is doing the best so far and at what rank are you now if I may ask?
I have some good decks actually for wild now. I invested enough I think to be competitive and fun at the same time.
I started with Mind Blast priest (old school hero power and mind blast fun). Big Priest is very good if you have a good mulligan. Beast Hunter is just fun, but actually didn't work out on ladder at some point (after rank 15). Elemental Mage is descent at this point, and a lot of fun.
I just crafted the 9-7 demon guy that makes your hero immune and with some demons and DK Gul'Dan. It is a lot of fun actually to play wild with minions I've never used before e.g. Reno.
It did cost me much, but it is fun tho. Currently I'm at rank 12, but climbing is very easy at this point.

I understand what you're saying, but there is no point in trying to stay above rank 10. Losing for 10 games straight just to stay above rank 10 is not the way. And who knows, I've already beaten Big Priest with my demon deck.

No worries, make your own experiences, but if you think big priest is bad you haven't faced the true horrors of the wild ladder yet :D that being said demonlock/renodemonlock are very cool decks, the renolock-core is my favorite actually since there are so many directions you can go with it. Anyway I hope you have fun and success in wild ;)

Ok nice stuff. I find it actually hard to climb with just "fun" decks around rank 12. Too many secret mages, big priests and odd paladins imo
