It is a deck, that is the least fun and interactive to play against.
Secrets block you out of doing anything without getting punished almost everytime.
Basically you need board presence, removal and a ton of healing to beat it - all things secret mage can counter with its secrets (Explosive rune/counterspell/duplicate). Not to mention that it can cycle through its deck pretty easily.
For me these encounters are frustrating and I encounter mage 80% of the time on ladder.
Do not use Eater of Secrets. Your winrate will suffer against everything else. Instead include extra healing and/or armour gain. Weapon destruction can also be useful against Aluneth.
Just tech in a card that deletes all enemy secrets and your winrate against secret mage will skyrocket.
Or you will not see one ever again *puts on tinfoil hat*
TRue, tech a 5 mana minion that removes everything or the 4 mana wild one and Matchmaking will not put u gainst secret mages anymore, only against braindeadlocks and poopriests
I'm having success against them using Reno Mage ft. Quest and modest Dragon package. I'm rank 2 now. Took me a while to figure out what list works well for me. Now I do well vs. aggro due to absurd powerlevel of individual cards, deck is so stocked with powercards that I see good cards every game. Quest allows me to cheese out wins vs. decks that would otherwise outvalue me.

Should blizzard do sth against it?

That's Incredible!

Mech Handbuff Pal and Odd Rogue are both favored versus Wild Secret Mage, and are both strong, legend-viable decks on their own.
I use to pack Kesan Mystic. Eater of Secrets is pretty bad against other classes. SI:7 Infiltrator is another option, or Flare if you play hunter
Greetings, traveler.
Let's make Hunter great.

agreed, maybe nerf kirin tor mage or something in the deck as it's met too often on ladder

i dont understand , if the op say 80% match are versus secret mage that should result in 80$ winrate , that doesnt matter lose vs 20% matchups

ReinVos,mind sharing?
Nerf those brainless secret Mages!!!
Had to create a new profile because "something" went wrong with Hearthpwn!! Lost all my shit and they couldn't fix it they say!
Shame on you Heartpwn in these digital days!!
Oh yeah.….and FUCK Brainless Aggro
Yeah, I dunno have you Seen Priest Track record? Least Fun and Interactive is Basically Priest's whole Playstyle.
Though Secret Mage w/ Ice lock would absolutely be up there with Preist
You could include Sticky Finger to take their Aluneth. It would be hilarious at the very least.
Tinder Druid absolutely shuts down Secret Mage.
