Playing out my current Ice Cream Shaman match (1.5ish hours so far) and have been thinking on and off about how the animations royally screw over how turns function lol. The animations from my last turn have been going on for the last ten minutes (I alt f4-ed and restarted to skip the drone of Shudderwok sounds). My priest opponent used Death Grip from their LK, then later used anti-magic shell, and more than 5 minutes later the animations haven't ended and they haven't started/ended their turn yet.
Animations doing silly things. Does anyone with the technical know-how know why the constant Shudderwok animations screw over the turns/timer so badly?
(Also, for those of my fellow Ice Cream Shaman players I'm sure you also eventually start experiencing the 'early turn cut-off' when you lose time to be able to play a 10th & sometimes a 9th Shudderwok because of the seemingly early rope popping up?)

I only recently got a shudderwok, and only now really starting to learn about things to do with it. I see people have worked out an infinite again. sounds complicated though.

so it's wild then? aye I wasn't playing shaman then.
I only played evolve and aggro shaman back in old gods, then just recently picked the class back up again.
it's now my most invested class in the game though. crafted 5 class legendaries this month for shaman.
