I've been playing on and off for a few years and have made a few decks like Evenlock, Big Priest, Kingsbane Rogue and Odd Pally. I have a weak spot for the Warlock class and I absolutely love the concept behind Gul'dan DK but am missing most of the cards for this deck that would cost me around 8k dust.
Do you think it's wise to craft it and can it be considered a Tier 1 deck or will the meta change drastically and make the deck not viable?
I've also considerd Darkest Hour Warlock but it just seems to inconsistent at the moment. I'm currently on rank 9 and pushing for rank 5. Should i wait a week or more to see if it's a viable deck according to meta reports? It seems that these reports aren't published often for wild.
I would advice not to spend so much dust right now as the meta is just beginning to form.
The only absolute safe craft is Bloodreaver Gul'dan . That card is bonkers and will probably always see some play in wild and imo also pretty fun to play with.
Thanks for the tip! I kinda had a feeling I should wait but my hand is itching for it. I guess I'll keep playing Evenlock. Hopefully I'll get to rank 5 before season ends!
Not sure if consistently t1, but i'm pretty sure it will keep being viable for a very long while.
On the other hand, the style is pretty similar to Evenlock, maybe a bit more convoluted, but both decks try to sacrifice early game in order to build powerful swings for midgame.
It would be a new deck for me but I've been only playing mainly zoo and evenlock. I would like to change to a bit of more control-based decks and that's why Cubelock seems really nice. I just don't want to waste that much dust on a deck that won't be very viable but from the recent reports it seems to have always been a T1 or T2 deck.

I had 25000 dust and i wondered what to play . I have Bomb Warrior, Mech Hunter and all Druid , Rogue and Mage cards for standart, but its just boring imo, so i crafted so many old cards that i wanter to play and wild is 10 times more fun then standart so if you have enough dust do what yoo want, its just a game, you are suposed to have fun and if you want it just fcking do it !
Just wait for the meta report to see what's the best deck between cubelock and darkest hour warlock and then craft if you are short on dust. Both choice are good since all the cards included in these decks are wild staples. Even if darkest hour warlock is nerfed, all the cards will still be playable in other decks. But the safest craft is cubelock.

Yeah that's what I was thinking of doing but it seems that these wild reports aren't coming out yet. Hopefully they'll be out today or some time this weekend.
Looking at your collection you have a good start at the deck but you are missing Spiritsinger Umbra, 1 faceless, the skull, voidlords and the DK. It cant hurt to wait a little as you suggest.
I don't think Cubelock is in a good spot right now. Ranks 5 and 4 is full of Big Priest (actually a good matchup, but right now they're full greed mode with all cards to beat slow decks and nothing against aggro) and ranks three to legend were full of aggro. Not the meta you want to see with this deck.
I just crafted golden control warlock for wild and I miss like 5 cards to all golden cube lock, I'm sure warlock always will be a thing in wild unless they nerf something, and I don't think it will happen to warlock class. I'm planing to craft golden big priest in future, I think those deck will be viable forever.
Cubelock is powerful and challenging to play; if that's the archtype you want to play why wait, you'll need as much practice as possible, and it's clear the power level of the deck will always be viable in Wild.

If you thought you knew what you think I know, then you'd know I knew you knew I know.
I agree that cubelock is a strong deck in wild in general but I think it gets crushed in this meta filled with Big Priest. I strongly advice Darkest Hour Warlock. The legendaries it plays are staples in wild and it is imo the strongest deck right now by far (good against aggro and can destroy any deck with the right draw). Be sure to play 2x Nerubian Unraveler to get the Priests out there ;)
If you have the dust and/or cards for it, Renolock is arguably the best HS experience there is. It's also going nowhere and only gets better with each expansion.

Cube warlock against big priest is a 50/50 matchup. Darkest hour warlock is about as degenerate as big priest. Stop giving OP wrong advice, thanks :)

No question about Guldan DK HOWEVER the top Warlocks decks in WIld now dont run it. Zoolock; Darkest Hour and Evenlock.
I would say that crafting it would be good cause of evenlock as u can include it even tho many are running zihi and a lot of midrange cards looking to shutdown the match before turn 10

It's a pretty safe craft to be honest. Wild meta rarely changes and cubelock is a solid tier 1 deck.

you play wild, you shouldnt worry about any "meta changes"
if you like this deck and you know how to play it then go for it and craft the remaining cards

If you are in your first year of playing please read this post.
Dust does not burn a hole in the jar. Be careful what you craft, especially before and right after a rotation.

Safe to craft if you want an easier deck to learn how to Warlock.
If you already know how to Warlock then you’re better off crafting Even/Genn, Darkest Hour or Renolock.
