I started playing about a month before Ungoro. I knew I wanted to play wild eventually. After ROS was released and the rotation I figured why not give wild a try. Its been fun so far. The variety of decks I am facing is nice. I dont think I would go far in wild ranking, But my control warlock deck has won a few games and its been a nice experience.
Yeah, wild definitely has a fair amount of deck diversity - only obvious super common deck is big priest. Gonna take this chance for a shameless plug of my own wild hunter OTK deck which seems to have a pretty high winrate, including against big priest. Haven't seen a single player with anything like this list in wild yet:
If you've got a bit of cash to splash, treat yourself to an adventure, or 10 packs of an old set, every now and then. Well worth it!
I've mucked around with a few archtypes. Even mucked around with the much loved Big Priest a few times! The card I was most excited to craft with my HoF dust was Aya Blackpaw. Regardless, my jades deck still sucks. Doesn't mean I don't enjoy it!
IMO, wild was pretty boring during the year of the raven. All of the new cards were so weak that they made zero impact on the wild meta
It's great now though and I had a blast climbing out of the dumpster after neglecting my wild rank for a year. There's tons of new and interesting interactions between the old and RoS cards

Jade druid is one of the top tiers right now. It's still pretty expensive but thankfully one of the legendaries (Vargoth) was free. I still can't decide which is more fun between the "Oaken Summons into Archmage Vargoth casting oaken summons into Hecklebot" or the "Keeper Stalladris into jades, jades, jades" builds :)

but that is wrong. Genn, Baku and the juicy psychmelon were meta defining in wild and led to multiple nerfs
I guess what I really meant was there weren't any interesting combinations or interactions. Those are more like playing existing good cards together with new good cards to make a powerful deck

If you are in your first year of playing please read this post.
Dust does not burn a hole in the jar. Be careful what you craft, especially before and right after a rotation.

Can't agree more, and I started a year after you!

I might have to have a serious look into revamping mine. The one I use is mainly geared towards adventures. these new combos would be brutal!
