I got the “Unite the Murlocs” card for one of my alternate accounts. So, I have to (yes, my brain tells me I have no choice) to make a Wild Murloc deck. I say Wild because I want to continue to play with it after the Stsndard rotation. I’m not really going to try to ladder with it, but I would like it to be halfway decent. It also needs to be sort of budgetish. Does anyone have any build suggestions? Also, what are the best Wild Murloc cards in general?
Looking at the cards available, I’d say the best ones are Finja, murk eye, and neptulon. You have access to coldlight as well. I’d say the best (fun) idea for a build is some kind of card advantage murloc build with mountain giants.

Here is what you would need to craft: 2 Witch's Cauldron (800 dust; really good in swarm decks), 2 Primalfin Totems (200 dust; good for swarming the board with murlocs), 1 Rockpool Hunter (40 dust; extremely good Murloc, good stats and a bonus), 1 Ghost Light Angler (40 dust; cheap and good for quest completion), 2 Call in the Finishers (40 dust; cheap and good for quest completion). That's a total of 1,160 dust. Not sure if budgetish enough for you, but that would be my suggestion.
Oh, shoot, I totally overlooked the Warleaders. Since he only has one I will replace it with Marin since I don't think Marin is that good. But I think Cauldron is really powerful if you can get it going and you can also use it in other classes that can swarm the board like in Paladin and also some Hunter decks. (I think I even made it work in something like Minion Mage and even in Yogg Warrior with Dead Man's Hand as the only spell. Although those decks aren't that good to be fair, but as he said he's not going super-competitive with it.)

This is for an alternate account, so that’s why you didn’t see the quest. Snapjaw is interesting,. I’ve been meaning to try this card out, but haven’t even really played with it yet at all. Thanks for the build! Love the title btw. ;-)
Oh, well, I hope I was still helpful with the suggestion. Snapjaw Shellfighter is a very interesting card for those swarm decks since it protects against AOE and just in general it can be useful in protecting certain key minions. (I like to protect Cauldron with it even though it seems bad since Cauldron has 0 attack; 8 Health is a lot to go through and most of the time it should buy you another turn to get some spells and sometimes that can be game-changing... or you just get Totemic Might, lol. At least Ice Fishing is actually good in this deck, haha.) You're welcome. Yeah, the name is pretty cool - Thanks. :)

Oh, yes. I need to put Ice Fishing to good use before It leaves Standard and Hagatha won’t give it to me anymore. Haha. Thanks for the reminder. ;-D

I totally missed the budget part of your post, sorry
Yeah, Coldlight Oracle might be good. Thanks.

Thanks KC! Appreciate the build and the bloodlust replacement suggestion.
I took a look at your collection (which I hope is not too outdated since it didn't have the quest) and came up with this:
