Ok I'm done with this shit. There is no such thing in this game triggers me as much as playing against big priest. If u are shammy or mage u can hex or poly his first minion and if u are rogue you can sap it. But how about warrior, paladin, hunter, druid, warlock and some other priest. Think master is too random to counter it and it's a legendary so u can only have one in your deck.
Nerf it or give me an option to ban him from my match making system.
I'm leaving the wild format until they fix it. Plus I'll not spend any money from now on until it's fixed.

As Priest my strategy is to potion of madness the pulled minion back into Barnes. Not so good with Rag or Y'Shaarj of course but gave me a positive win rate at Rank 5.

Warriors got Cornered Sentry which is a really good tech (if not the best tbh) against big priest. As for the other classes it could be worth trying Saronite Taskmaster or Gravelsnout Knight but obviously not as effective.
But ye, with that being said, I do agree with you that playing against big priest is frustrating and overall just not fun, even if you play as mage or shaman with poly or hex.
Remember when the mods kept locking Jaina cleavage threads because there was already a thread bout it? I sure wish they were that diligent about literally any other kind of thread.
I honestly love playing against Big Priest, deck is so hit or miss. Everyone remembers the Barnes into Y'Shaarj on turns 3/4, but forgets about the hilarious Shadow Essence into Barnes on turn 6 followed by them conceding. There are way tougher match-ups on the ladder right now (like Renolock and Cubelock) that have insane power level and take 20+ minutes win or lose. Bring on the Big Priest!
No, I don't beleive it. You have to a big Priest player. Your examples explain precisely why the deck is so ridiculous. Winning against a Priest that just sits there and does nothing isn't fun, just like losing to a priest that starts cheating out big minions from turn four onwards isn't fun. It's barely even a game at all.
Dean Ayala said very recently that they don't touch Big Priest atm because it's a lot of fun for the player playing the deck, which for them outweighs the bad experience the opponent has. They want wild to be a place where it's possible to play even such a very polarized deck. Because it's overall not overpowered they don't consider it an issue from the balancing perspective either.
You have to grant them its a legit standpoint. You don't have to agree with it of course but it is the way they see it.

Believe what you want. I played mostly odd warrior and zero big priest this month. Winning is fun, I don't care if they sit there and do nothing, especially when I get to mill their deck with coldlights.
