Dirty rat/gnomefuratu are your friends just saying
Dirty Rat is very terrible against Big Priest. Why would you help them get a free Y'Shaarj (for example)? IF you draw out Barnes on Turn 2, it is helpful. IF you are ready to play Polymorph or Hex on the same turn it is helpful. IF they don't have a minion in hand it gives you a useless taunt. Otherwise it just loses you the game.
Gnomeferatu doesn't lose you the game, but it is similarly useless. Most of the cards in Big Priest's deck are spells, not minions, so the chances of removing one of their big minions is very low. They have two copies of each resurrection spell + two Shadow Visions, so removing one important spell doesn't do very much. Even if Gnomeferatu removes one of his big minions, it doesn't automatically ruin his game, and if it removes only one of the Obsidian Statues, it doesn't do anything at all. Heck, I got thanked once for removing my opponent's Barnes from his deck since then it couldn't be summoned with Shadow Essence.
I think the problem here is the graveyard. If they introduce real graveyard there will be no problem any more. If a 1/1 died you could only res 1/1. And once you res it, you can’t res a second copy if it doesn’t die you can’t res it any more.
I think it means it just has a lot of counters and is highly draw reliant. I'm not the worlds best player, not by a long shot, but I can pilot a deck well enough.
So if you're facing a lot of priests these are worth considering, some of these are even staples, and some are just good even if they don't directly complement your deck.
Most of these tech cards are bad on their own potentially game losing even unlike oozes.

True, but the transform effects are all game winning when played intelligently (ie Don't freak out and transform the very first thing that you can just to maybe give them one bad rez). You always, ALWAYS prioritze transforms on things that give the priest pressure if you are playing a control/fatigue game because one spellstone with all of the major threats, and if you have no answers, can very quickly snowball you out of the mid/late game. I completely ignore transforming statues because they are a non issue. A 4 attack minion with lifesteal isn't a threat against a control deck. However, a minion that can snipe your face and/or potential good minions repeatedly is, as is a 10/10 that summons the other high priority targets, and even sometimes KT.
On the topic of Rag I will again say that a big sign of a person who knows the Big Priest match-up vs those who don't is that a less experienced player will often kill Rag. Most of the time this only helps the priest because the moment you do that you have to play around additional rezzed Rags for the rest of the game, suffering all of that face damage and/or free removal on your minions. The better strat is to suck up any Rag hits until you can get a transform off. It does get more annoying if they get a 1/1 Barnes Rag but you can't counter something 100% every game.
people trying to use winrate as a fact that Big Priest aint OP you realise that almost everybody play decks that counter Big Priest ? so i hope the winrate is not 70% nobody tries to counter even sham, even sham is successful thanks to Big Priest xD
The problem is not even the deck itself. The problem is that for most of the decks, if you see the opponent droping Barnes on T4, you know you lose a lot of chances to win. turn 4 comes really quickly ... it can even be turn 3 with coin.
Blizzard already explained nerfs about trying to avoid moment of frustration in the game. Big Priest is a very boring deck to play against.
Right because a rank 25 player who mulligans pre nerf Undertaker away shows that the deck wasn't broken.
I have no idea what you're talking about re: Undertaker, but a lot of people have put forward in this thread why the deck isn't as big a deal as the vocal minority likes to pretend it is.
I get that it feels bad. I don't like playing against it either.
But there is always going to be a next boogey man. I said that when people were railing against SADruid that Kingsbane and Big Priest still existed. THen, when people railed against Kingsbane, I reminded everyone that Big Priest still exists. Next, it'll be something like Kazakus/Reno or Jade Idol.
Wild is full of unfair, degenerate shit. That's what eternal formats are.

You claimed that that guy who couldn't win with big priest at low ranks shows the deck isn't broken. I gave a similar example to show how ridiculous it is.
Just because one deck is even more stupid than two others, doesn't justify the two other broken decks being as they are.
Much like standard, people complained about druid and that class got nerfed. People complained about hunter and lo and behold... here we are.
Just because wild is an eternal format doesn't mean it needs to be the shitshow that it is now.

The point is it will literally always be a shitshow. There's no way to balance it, and it will only get worse.

I honestly love playing against Big Priest, deck is so hit or miss. Everyone remembers the Barnes into Y'Shaarj on turns 3/4, but forgets about the hilarious Shadow Essence into Barnes on turn 6 followed by them conceding. There are way tougher match-ups on the ladder right now (like Renolock and Cubelock) that have insane power level and take 20+ minutes win or lose. Bring on the Big Priest!

I tried Wild for the first time in a while. At rank 25 I put together a Big Priest deck. https://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/decks/wild-big-priest-post-nerf-rastakhan-47-legend-m3s/ I had every card.
I went 1-6
I'm not sure it's that good.

Just because you can't win with a deck that plays itself at rank 25 doesn't mean the deck isn't broken.
It just means you're a terrible player, lol.

I lost to a Sap, Sap, Loetheb combo. All those seem pretty good vs. Big Priest. (how he had all that in his hand by like turn 6 is beyond me though)

Let’s just trash wild format and not have any old cards period. Then u people will stop bitching about cards in wild.

I beat the last priest, He didn't get his Barnes. Then I just toyed with him until he quit.
Free to try and find a game, dealing cards for sorrow, cards for pain.
Shame on all you peoples that play this deck. You are killing the Wild ladder and Blizzard is complicit in this farce.

With that attitude nothing will change, yes.
