Been playing at rank 20 with my meme decks and every game feels like I'm playing against some guys who gave the game to their younger brother and let him make a deck.
These games literally felt like I was playing arena and this wouldn't bother me cause we are at rank 20 but the fact that they were all golden heroes just makes me wonder a lot. Maybe I'm missing on some epic otk meme decks and someone please hit me up if thats the case lol.
Sometimes people like to mess around in wild, even people who have golden heroes. But golden hero does not equal good player, just someone who has played for a while. Trust me, I have a golden Druid and I properly suck at this game!
Anyway, I usually play wild when I’m bored of standard, like now while waiting for RR to drop. Still at rank 20 and have seen some crazy decks as well which is awesome. Really been enjoying it
Or indeed golden heroes means they played a lot and they just meme to have some fun. It surprises me less than those odd paladin at rank 20. How do you even are 20 with that deck, I don't even...
Well I play only wild, so when I do play standard (rare) I am usually rank 25-20, and when I do i play expensive decks that definitely don't belong in those ranks..
I know right, wild rank 20 “meta” is sooo much fun! One time i climbed to rank 17 but i insta regretted because of all the kingsbane rogue, jade druid, big priest garbage, but in rank 20 i feel at home, i get matchups like emeriss hunter vs quest druid, or hand rogue vs odd shaman, and also i come across many of these “abomination” decks like described in the opening post, but i think that just not everyone is a good deckbuilder, but as long as you enjoy the game it’s good!
The games has been out for 4+ years, why are people so shocked to see golden hero portraits? It's not hard to win 500 games over multiple years. Being rank 20 in wild could mean they are a standard format player the majority of the time, so they decayed ranks not touching wild over multiple seasons.
Yeah i just played Kingsbane Rogue at rank 19. I'm having a good time playing my espionage death rattle Rogue. Congrats to the other player for beating me with their OP net deck :)

maybe standard lists, some people just are curious and want to see how standard lsits fare in wild, and some people aren't smart and belive that winrates in standard translate properly to Wild, i swear i see a ton of standard king'sbane rogues in wild which is a list that's super weak to skulking geist because they aren't running neither oracles nor oil.
I love Rank 20 in wild. I go there to pick up extra ranked wins for classes I don't normally play in standard ranked, and I have had some of the most outrageous and fun matches there that I've ever had.

Rage quitting: the best way to ensure your opponent knows they beat a giant baby.
I mean in league they have the bronze rank which is the home of the worst players in the game, this season the company decided to introduce a rank below bronze(iron)
So there are just people who keep playing a game they are TERRIBLE at and that stuff exists too.
You can also find evidence by looking at some card ratings.
I think there was a change in the latest patch: everyone who ever reached rank 15 can no longer drop below rank 20. So people who before didn't play or win enough to reach rank 20 consistently but once got to rank 15 with patience, luck or a netdeck will start each month at rank 20 instead of 25.
...they are not shit, they are actually played and are semi good in buff decks (inquisitor) and big decks that dont want to get minions killed (spellstopper)

Game 1: Golden Rogue - some of the cards he played - Frozen Crusher Hired Gun Y'Shaarj, Rage Unbound Mecha'thun (was played manually on turn 10)
Game 2: Golden Mage - some of the cards he played - Wee Spellstopper Ancient Watcher with no silence or taunt activators whatsoever
Game 3: Golden Warrior - some of the cards he played - Mecha'thun manually mid game Felsoul Inquisitor Card Name Iron Hide

Me? Gongaga.
Maybe they are new players and bought accounts with golden heroes?
It's rank 20 for a reason.
I always though they were some kind of bots.

Missing lethal since June 2015.
Maybe just returning players trying to complete quests like ''play X minions with more than 5 attack'' to try and get gold for the next xpac?
I don't know why anyone would run shit like Felsoul Inquisitor or Wee Spellstopperthough lol

Since I only play Standard, I let my 10 year old daughter play Wild and Casual on my account.

Neither do they.
I learned that some people are just that bad.

Maybe thay just built a random deck for fun. Dont overthink it.
