He’s counter queuing you. Wait a minute or so before hopping back in
This.
Wild has a smaller player base than Standard - HSReplays tracks about ten times as many Standard games as Wild. It's been a known issue since the format split - the smaller player base makes it less likely that another player will be queuing after you finish a game, and HS will simply re-match you against your most recent opponent rather than make you wait. Anyone that doesn't practice "safe queuing protocols" in the format can end up like the OP.
I for one plan to get legend with Pirate Reno Rogue when the expansion comes out. Watch ye backs landlubbers...
All kidding aside, the idea of making a card that can silence then destroy a weapon seems great. It will feel like a weak card in Standard depending on the current card pool, but in Wild...it will quell a lot of the frustration that comes with playing against Kingsbane. Plus, several Kingsbane decks can actually win without the weapon. As for Big Priest, perhaps we could get a minion that switches sides before it's death resolves, placing a clunky minion inside the Priest's resurrection pool. Usually Hex and Polymorph put a damper on the matchup if you can mix a dead sheep or frog into rez pool. I'm sure Blizz has plenty of ideas, they just want to introduce them at the right time.
Good. Whole idea of wild format is pretty fucking stupid anyway. Have fun with fighting kingsbane rogue masochist.
I find it curious that Kingsbane rogue is the most hates matchup while Even shaman is the cookie-cutter powerhouse, with a good chance of beating everything.

Because even Shaman isn't nearly as polarizing and frustrating a deck as Kingsbane rogue is.
Control has 0 chance against that deck whereas aggro absolutely stomps on it.
No too long ago, I had 3 different opponents across 10 games in Wild Casual. First opponent showed up 4 times in a row, and the second and third 3 times each.
Considering how unfriendly the game generally is to new and returning players, and how the developers keep Wild mode as inaccessible and exclusive as possible, this does not surprise me.
It goes without saying that Blizzard should pay more attention to wild. We've got only few tournaments and a heroic brawl. I love playing wild and I don't understand their policy at all.
SA-Druid was totally OP. Kingsbane Rogue and Big Priest isn't. The issue is that no deck can really hit them both: Kingsbane Rogue right now (and getting more OP in the next xpack) is right now weak against hyper-aggro like Odd Paladin and other aggro-decks. Big Priest for example is very strong against odd paladin with spirit lash and other things, while itself quite weak against Kingsbane Rogue (and rogue in general)
The problem with nerfing one OP deck is that there is always going to be another one to take its place.
JOC, if Odd Paladin is "hyper-agro", what is Mech Hunter?
The real issue is simply: there is no other viable deck other than Big Priest: Heck, i think that even unnerfed Raza was far better than Big Priest. But beside of Big Priest there is simply no viable Priest deck right now. Hopefully this will change with the next xpack, i have some hopes for other kinds of priest-decks beside big priest out there.
Nothing will change. New cards have little effect on Wild, since card pool is so large.
But in the end yes: Both Big Priest AND Kingsbane Rogue needs a nerf: Why not change the 5/5 ooze to: silence and destroy a weapon or change Kingsbane only to keep the attack and durability on the weapon, no additional buffs like lifesteal and poisonous. And for Big Priest: Nerf Barnes, fixed. But both nerfs can only exist together.
Nerfing Barnes doesn't kill Big Priest. The deck is just strong, often winning without getting any value from Barnes. Nerfing Kingsbane Rogue is retarded. It's a Tier 3 deck. It's the only thing stopping Big Priest right now.
But yes, new cards would probably be the best: for example: a minion that steals your opponents equiped weapon. Another one that puts crappy minions on the opponents board (3 different 1/1s) that kills themself on the opponents turn and fills the opponents graveyard with crap.
Lets not introduce new cards in Standard for the sake of Wild. Wild is basically a meme format, kind of like Tavern Brawl. It doesn't have to be balanced, or fair. It will always be filled with the most broken degenerate decks the game has ever seen, along with a shrinking of fools playing "fun decks".
I don't think wild is dead, i think that right now many people are simply playing standard because there is quite a cheap deck out there to easy reach rank 5; Standard Odd Paladin.
Standard has about 20 decks that are legend viable.
Kingsbane rogue is a pain. Worse is that Rogues from standard made their way over too. Decks are the generic Cutlass/Espionage standard deck. I moved from Standard to Wild to get away from the boring meta and there they are in Wild now. Rogue in general is played far too often and majority on either side is a rogue for your opponent. Such mindless decks too.

I agree with most of this, except the conclusion that big priest is the only viable deck in wild. Dragon/mind blast priest got me to legend pretty easily this season, and has a decent match up against most of the popular decks. I think there's definitely a few legend worthy, non-memey decks still out there waiting to be discovered, but most people don't deviate from the standard 4-5 formulas that have already been developed to find out.

what kind of deck u use in mind blast dragon priest. seems fun for wild
(Dusts off Treachery Warlock deck and puts in Doomsayers for one of the Howlfiends and another card).
Fun times with spellstones incoming.
Love this. I ran a Treachery deck with that combo and Fel Reaver to burn through cards in deck as well. The only issue against rogue is that although that helps remove Kingsbane, you're often going to get combo pieces milled since you're playing a control deck. But if you manage to pull it off, damn is it satisfying. Personally, I rarely see Kingsbane in wild and if I do, my secret hunter eats it alive. Big Priest is a different story though so it might be fun to go back to those days of Treacherylock.

I eat Kingsbane rogues for breakfast.

Nothing, they only addressed one of Wild's problems while leaving the others intact.

I only play wild, certainly fewer opponents, but it's a tougher ladder.
Kingsbane and Big Priest are just the most obvious offenders, independently of frequency, but it is much more than that.
As it stands, Wild needs a whole new maintenance policy or stay a meme mode forever, that can hardly be taken seriously.
As well as more official showcasing by Blizzard.

Hm, Big Priest is back in Wild?

BTW is wild more control based again?
I'm getting SICK of aggro locks, paladins and shaman in standard ladder, and casual is even worse.
Don't know how people still complain about druids in standard; I have seen maybe one or two in weeks.
Nope, used to love the game mode but now everyone are playing Big Priest which is unfun as fck to play against so I went to Standard instead.

@ DMH_Meta if you go to my profile it should be there under the decklists, if not, message me
