Exodia Paladin got some really nice tools in Rastakhan. It's extremely fun and effective against Big Priest and other slow decks. I've included a defensive/ealing package with Shirvallah and Zola which greatly improved the aggro match-up which was almost unwinnable before. Not I even beat some Even Shamans and Hunters. See my current build below:
I've been trying to make it work in Wild, I agree with both Geist being a hard counter, and that Burgly Bully is mandatory (which makes not getting the coin from it very frustrating). I think Time Out has serious potential, but it's matchup dependant which means it could fall off the meta radar; if Big Priest keeps its current numbers, or even goes up, there's a place for this deck, because it does have other strong matchups, and is hella fun to play.
And what about garrison commander? (After taurissan commander 1 mana, beardo 2) 1mana Commander-2 mana token- 2 mana token-2 mana beardo-coin-2 mana token-2 mana token? Or it’s not work this? And mechanic apocalypse is awesome 😎, one of the best win conditions in game.
I didn't really try, but the TTK version with Commander and Brewmasters is immune to Geist.
Anyway, i am not sure Rastakhan is helping with Control Healadin, more like making Healing a Tempo generator.
But you do not care for your own Tempo here, beside removals and board clears (which is what Paladin lacks so far, and i bet will still lack after release).
Raven, I also played with brewmasters version for a while but you can’t run Call to Arms in it, making it much slower. Fortunately I rarely see Geist in Wild so it doesn’t bother me much

Good idea but you would need two 0 mana spells to refresh the HP after Beardo
problem 1: you NEED 2 coins, either from going second or from Burgly Bully but a smart opponent will never fall into the trap, making your win condition totally unreliable (at least if that Priest gargoyle was a neutral...)

As i fink, commander give you two token, then beardo+1 coin, and commander give you again two token. I can’t check this combo, because I don’t have commander, craft his after Rastakhan addon.
Check it again. You only use HP twice with it, then it doesn't work anymore, you need to refresh Beardo's ability for the last two HP. It IS used though in the version where you bounce back the knights to your hand with Youthful Brewmaster.
It's a bit outdated and slower than other OTKs (but immune to Geist, which is good), but check this version below to understand, it's a lotta fun:
Maybe new card will be best in combo: Banana buffoon (add 2 banana - 1 manacost). Use this and taurissan (in hand beardo, Uther Ebon blade and fencing coach(next heropower cost 0) and 2 or 3 cost spell ), on next turn use dk + fencing coach, and next turn combowombo:
2 mana beardo, 0 mana token, 0 mana banana, 2 mana token, 0 mana banana, 2 mana token, 2 mana spell (flash light or equality or time out(with taurissan), 2 mana token.
In the end we have combo, geist no fear for this(in theory). We can play call to arms with any 1-2 cost minions, maybe renopaladin with tekal and any win conditions in deck.
I had already thought about Banana Buffoon in this deck. They're the only 1-mana spell generator we need, but Geist still ruins the party.
BTW Garrison Commander >>> Fencing Coach (1 mana less, same effect), but you still don't need either in this deck, if you discount all your combo pieces with Emperor: Beardo will be 2 mana and all spells will be zero. 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 = OTK
Updated the deck with a healing package which greatly improved the aggro match-up. Double 0 mana Shirvallah, the Tiger (thanks to Zola) is really OP and was a godly inclusion to the archetype IMO.

Is anyone else still messing with this archetype?
I played with similar deck, and geist ruined many games. What about burgle bully and more control elements? (I not bully for try it in Wild).

Guys I updated the deck and guide. Looking pretty good now!
Want a new control killer that's damn fun? Just found it. Watch the rise of the 4 Hoursemen!
