This is my first time ever really trying to go for legend. I started going for it a few days ago and climbed this season from rank 17 to rank 6 in Wild playing Odd Rogue and some Pirate Warrior. As long as nothing changes, I'll probably stick with that. Odd Rogue has been quite fun for me.
Im trying to go legend the first time ever this season, last season i got rank 7 because i was only playing the last 6 days... And this season im gonna be playing a lot more with even shaman in wild, and i shall not bm. even shaman is super fun
Starting at rank 10 today, shooting for legendary with Renolock, odd rogue and even shaman! This will be my first attempt, never got past rank 6 whether it be due to time constraints or lack of interest. Wish me luck!
My goal is always rank 5, no time and patience for legend grind. Getting there with meta decks I then switch to my favorite Exodia Paladin which, surprisingly, has been doing quite well!
See for yourselves! So much fun OTKing your helpless big priests, jade druids, ctrl warriors, kingsbane and renolocks from 30 life + 30 armor! It's also around 50% against aggro rogue/shaman so a pretty decent choice I'd say, in a pocket control meta.
so do you think even shaman, odd rogue, or odd warrior would be best to climb with.
i have all the even shaman list, i am only missing leeroy from odd rogue, and i can pull together some odd warrior, but i dont think i can make the whole list card for card.

Rejoice, for even in death, you have become children of Thanos.
Playing a dragon priest variant with two versions, a control and a burst. Both are pretty much direct counters to even shaman. Both are about 50/50 for odd rogue. The control version does great against big priest, control warlock and is does pretty good against odd paladin, but it loses to kingsbane rogue and any combo deck. The burst version can beat combo decks, but loses to big priest. Kinda just been switching back and forth, but I did hit rank 3 with it already.
What decks are the best to climb with from rank 15? SMOrc plan is not my choice. It is pretty hard to choose a deck without hardly any game stats (meta snapshot waiting room)
So I'm trying wild for the first time, what is good to ladder with? I used a Mech mage variant to go from rank 25 to 15, but maybe it's time for something more serious now. I mostly faced standard decks people were using in wild, so I don't really have an idea. Kingsbane Rogue sounds decent?
I would not recommend crafting it unless you aim for a high legend finish and need a deck for counter queueing control decks. It's just not strong enough against aggro which are the majority of decks between 4 and Legend.

Okay thanks! What would you recommend? I got most cards so I can go something like Jade Druid? I tried RenoLock and Even Shaman but not really a fan of those decks.
This season I've tried Exodia Priest (2-0) Renolock (9-7) and Big Spell Mage (6-5) with little and Evenlock (12 - 6) and Big Priest (11-2) with some more success.
Just reached Legend on Wild mode for first time using Even Shaman and Kingsbane Rogue.
Currently NA has lots of Big Priests. At rank 2 I got matched with them 10 games in row and really painful to play againt so I have to use Kingsbane Rogue to deal with them but the funny part is I only queue to Big Priest only with my Shaman when I switch to rogue I got Odd Pally, Even Shaman and a Pirates Warrior instead.
Hey everyone, I reached Legend a few days ago using this deck here. It worked pretty well against most of what I was running into, and I also wrote a guide if anyone's interested. Best of luck to those still climbing.
Our final full month of The Boomsday Project!

made it to rank 2 the past 2 seasons but not quite to legend so i guess ill try again this season
went from 6 to 4 today after the resets with odd paladin
i think i might craft odd rogue and give it a try since it seems pretty powerful in this meta

Any good non aggro decks to reach legend rank with in wild? I just find aggro decks really cancer and annoying to play with...
Renolock

Haven't played since the balance changes. How has the meta changed?
The Meta has been reverted to pre Boomsday.
