I still see plenty of Kingsbane rogues out on wild and I use to play tempo mage with 2 ooze as my go-to counter against this deck. But with the recent nerf to Mana Worm, I don't know if tempo mage can pull it off anymore, maybe it would still work. But I need a good suggestion to replace mana worm with.
But these Kingsbane rogue decks is spreading like cancer lately and I'm running out of ideas on how to counter it.
How good is zoo against it? I try and take it on with Odd Rogue but Kingsbane + Leeching Poison off the get go is pretty much a deal breaker ofr me.
Cheers, thanks. Been playing Reno Shutterwok lately, it's been fun for a bit, but now getting destroyed with it the last few days. I'll switch back to Even Shaman, but I was playing the Whirling Zap-o-matic / Corpsetaker version which I guess is like a burst aggro style. Or should I do the Primalfin Totem version, I seen a few people with Draenei Totemcarver.
I play a very agressive Even Shaman deck with Windfury and I always end up killing those pesky kingsbane rogue before they can buff their weapon enough. I think I had something like a 90% winrate against it.
Don't have the code right now but I can submit it later today
I haven't played it much lately, but prior to BDP release I was playing some old fashioned C'Thun Warrior for fun and I don't think I lost to a single Kingsbane Rogue I came across as long as I didn't mill C'Thun. I especially loved when my opponent would Vanish all my Battlecry Cthun buffing minions to my hand. Pretty sure a couple matches against them I played a C'Thun over 30/30 and with their lack of minions and not quite full health it was an easy OTK by playing him.
Not sure how the deck does in general, but I love C'Thun decks because they are fun. And at least in my case, it handled the pesky Kingsbane Rogues.

I'm honestly shocked by that statement lol. I mean as long as I didn't mill C'Thun.. Well that's exactly the problem, from the sheer amount of games I've played against Kingsbane Rogue I can with ease tell you that you'll mill C'Thun atleast every second time you face them lol. And if you didn't/don't you're fortunate as hell!

Big Spell Mage works pretty well, after you drop Frost Lich Jaina you try to freeze the enemy hero each turn with your water elementals to stop them from healing by attacking with the Kingsbane
Ooze + Gnomeferatu. Likewise, rushing them down with too much pressure. If the rogue has Kingsbane + Buff and Lifesteal + Backstab you are probably going to lose regardless though. I used to beat pre nerf tempo mage with opening hands like that. Gnomeferatu is the only hard counter and even then you have to survive. Kingsbane is just a stupid card really. Another thing that should not exist in this game.
I was playing some Pirate Warrior last night at Rank 5. Warrior is the last golden hero I need.
I played four Kingsbanes in a row and won every match.
I was polite about it, though. I thanked them every time their Coldlights thoughtfully filled my hand :0
hard to imagine how to beat pirate warrior with KB ^^ because in this case it's really really bad to reload his hand, some aggro-decks are not punishing this hard...
Tbh i think Aluneth Mage is still heavily favored against Kingsbane. More than Even Shaman, because you are not heavily reliant on board presence.
You can go aggressive with Kabal Lackey and an extra Secret, or more tactical with path of Frost, replacing Wyrm and Ooze with Ice Lance and Glacial Shard (prevents healing on Kingsbane and slows down Aggro, as well as giving you burst damage).
Can confirm Aluneth Mage still works. Kingsbane Rogue is not afraid of your Mana Wyrm. What Kingsbane Rogue fears is Frostbolt to the face 2 turns in a row (preventing their healing), followed up by Fireballs and Burning Torches you drew from their Coldlight Oracle (which died from Explosive Rune).

Even Shaman destroys it

I had 40% Win rate to legend against Shaman so wouldnt say so. Also Azalina and Odd Warrior is a go to
The goal of all life is death.

That would be so much appreciated, thanks Ferrafox, that would be awesome.
Control warlock with rin or gnomerefatu
That's actually a terrible idea how would Rin even be useful you're gonna mill the seals...
I've try that, worth a shot but I like the even shaman idea. Even shaman just a strong solid deck.

Aggro decks in general tend to do well against Cancerbane.

With a better game.

Bad players whine.
Good players adapt.
I have a 100% lose rate vs this deck. I played control and can't win so I moved to aggro and still have 100% lose rate.
The only counter is Kingsbane rogue - 50% win rate vs it. GL
