So, I am slowly tuning down for Renolock, but I still miss too many cards. And I have notice that Kara Kazham! never appears in popular lists.

On its own, it is a fairly weak card, it barely holds vanilla value, split in weak bodies.

However, those bodies can turn out to be very helpful for efficient trading, during midgame.

Moreover, comboed with Defile, it turns out as a (7) AoE that can reach 4hp minions and beyond. Basically, for 2 cards you get something in between of Flamestrike and Twisting Nether (with the upside of being able to get rid of deathrattles too, potentially).

What do you think? Is Renolock already packed with more useful cards?

PS: through Emperor Thaurissan, you can get a more niche, but insanely more powerful Kara Kazham! + Lord Godfrey combo, at (10), reaching 5+ hp minions.

I'm not sure if it's worth removing cards from the current decklists, but it atleast seems great for budget players if they have no better options. Defile is already an auto include anyway and Kara Kazham! can still be an okay stand-alone card so I think it's definitely worth it to experiment with.

I get your idea but Kara Kazham! [/card]outside of that combo is straight up bad. Why won't you use [card]Explosive Sheep that costs less, have same synergy with Defile and Godfrey and its not a dead draw against more agresive decks?

You are better off using Tainted Zealot, pretty much the same dmg output for way less mana. And you can sometimes use it with Mortal Coil or other spells. Generally a better option imho and it was used as such in the past.

Indeed, Explosive Sheep is a much better anti-Aggro tool...

Too bad, flavour on this card was cool.
