Are you playing Wild? I assume yes, since Shaman is one of the worst classes in standard. The Star Aligner Druid is a minion based combo deck, so cards like Dirty Rat or Demonic Project can be very helpful against it. Alternatively, since it's a slower deck that needs to put together a lot of combo pieces, you could try to aggro it down, perhaps with something like Tempo Mage or Pirate Warrior.
Even Shaman is just stupidly powerful right now in Wild. It tends to go wide on the board, and Shaman is famous for having pretty poor card draw, so maybe a heavy control deck with lots of AOE could wear them down. Alternatively, the "if you can't beat em, join em" strategy is probably viable here, and Even Shaman is probably pretty powerful against Druid.
Just read your second post - seems to me the best advice is to stop switching. Stick with Even Shaman - it's the best deck in wild right now - and just get better piloting it so that you start winning the mirrors. Switching decks is a lot of fun, but if you're trying to grind up the ladder, the context switching can make piloting much harder. Familiarizing yourself with good mulligan strategies across match-ups with a single deck is more straightforward, and the best way to make progress to legend.
Was rank 1 3stars with deadman hand warrior ,after that i went on losing streak to rank 3 2stars. Thats six time i jumped from rank 3 to 1 ,then rank 1 to 3 .
Out of frustration i started to switch decks again, its kinda funny how people easy finish combo on turn 7 . Every Star aligner, and tooglewoogle. Seen bunch of those 9 in row.
When i play staraligner druid ,im not that lucky with draws ( wild growth at start, and all combo cards)
Secret Hunter crushes Even Shaman (lost to one in my legend climb because he hit me for 15 damage with double Crackle + Jade) but has struggles against Star Aligner. It worked really well for me but I climbed right when Star Aligner was getting discovered so it wasn’t super popular
Personally, I'm playing a slighty different version. I got rank 3 with it and Odd pally but didn't have the motivation to hit legend (for the first time !).
My decklist includes 1 Primalfin Totem, 1 Windfury, 2 Draenei Totemcarver and Aya Blackpaw instead of the Corpsetaker package. Draenei becomes a huge menace in this deck and can be stronger than Flamewreathed Faceless if you have at least 3 totems on your board. The Windfury is like a tech card which can surprises your opponents and help shutting down control/combo decks (mainly druids) before they get their win condition. With the faceless, this card makes also a lot of sense.
It's just my personal experience but I found Whirling Zap-o-matic to be a weak 2 drop because it only has 2 health so dies to everything and doesn't have an immediate impact on the board like Dire Wolf Alpha. Sure, if it survives, you can slam your opponent's face pretty hard but it often gets removed. I also tried to run Eternal Sentinel, Ancestral Knowledge, Lava Shock and Menacing Nimbus before for the 2 cost slot. However, the wolf seems too strong to get ignored. Never tried The Lich King and Piloted Shredder yet but they seem a bit slow.
I have hit legend with even shaman the for the June and July seasons (didn't want to push this season) in under 140 games. I could totally coach you, I'd consider myself pretty good due to the fact that I'm 19-5 in the mirror. I will admit a few of the wins were lucky devolves, but the raw data is right. I find it interesting that you have a good time vs. renolock, that and big priest were the decks that I stuggled the most, (renolock seemed to always have nuts) but druid, mirror, and pallys were eZ wins for me. I play on NA, feel free to add me Jaybaseball1#1802
Edit: no offense, but your list looks terrible to me, I run completely different cards, I made my own list out of personal preferences.
No offense taken,i agree that list wasnt the best, sadly i play on EU would add you otherwise. Most reno locks i encountered couldnt save themself even with reno, thought if they have perfect hand with lots of removals
Recently, I've been having good success against Star Aligner Druid with my N'Zoth Dead Man's Hand Warrior. I think I went 4-1 against it over the past few days, sometimes winning without drawing Dirty Rat. I don't think that they knew the match up well though to play it well, so I likely had it easier.
The deck doesn't do too well against Even Shaman though, but I could probably tech against it better with better midrange removal.
