Hi everyone, im a determined wild player. Im considering to step up my game and invest some money into the new expansion. But im a bit afraid that the new cards wont be played in wild. So go on and tell me your thoughts ;)
Rogue - Kingsbane may create a new rogue archetype and could go into mill to simply avoid some fatigue damage. Fal'dorei Strider could also see play, but I'm not so sure. The Secrets could also add a little spice.
Hunter - People might try out a minionless hunter... Although I'm not too sure about how viable that would be. Otherwise Flanking Strike seems quite nice.
Mage - Aluneth might go into freeze. Draw 3 for 6 and potentially more is really strong and might make the cut. I havent fiddled with a list enough and obviously haven't gotten to test it IRL. Leyline Manipulator might make some crazy tempo plays possible for quest. Which might give it enough to be better than freeze.
Warrior - Reckless Flurry might be very good help for DMH in wild. Not sure how good recruit is going to be. If Patches is any indicator it could be very very strong. Face Warrior with lots of charges and a pirate package to start? I'm not sure... Think of Gather Your Party this way: "Draw a minion and play it without paying it's cost. It's battlecry is not triggered." If it doesn't exist now I'm sure there will be something out there that will bust recruit eventually.
Paladin - Call to Arms will be stupid good, just a matter of what you set up for. Crystal Lion might make it into a SIlverhand list as a 1 of. Val'anyr seems super cool, but really slow and weak to priest shenanigans. I doubt it will see any play, but when it works it will be a stupid amount of value. Getting it to roll on multiple charge minions or Copy minions will be sweet.
Priest - Our overlords got some new toys for sure... At least some promote different decks. Another boardclear in Psychic Scream. Another board clear in Duskbreaker. A stronger Aldor Peacekeeper in Twilight Acolyte. Lesser Diamond Spellstone might be a one of in Big Priest. Twilight's Call might be in Big, Nzoth and quest lists. Temporus might be a meme now, but... It's possible that something dumb can be done with it, if not now, eventually.
Warlock - Cataclysm might actually be good for quest depending on ordering. Possessed Lackey will be great in a big demon Warlock. Kobold Librarian is great. One of the best 1 drops ever.

Master Oakheart This card could pull off some insane things in wild. My problem is what deck to make and how will you get there consistently to justify having a 9 mana 5/5. That combo better win the game on the spot or at least equalize things. This is a card that will probably get better over time.
King Togwaggle seems innocent, but there may be ways to make it work. Druid may be able to make the card playable in a list with Hemet, Jungle Hunter after you've gotten your naturalizes and hopefully a coldlight or two. Fill their hand and swap them the Ultimate Infestations and Spreading Plagues that are probably the only cards left in that deck and you win. But even as a straight play, this is a card that is a 5/5 for 8 which makes your opponent pay 5 to get their deck back. Which is pretty darn good value actually. You can essentially stall half a turn away just holding their deck hostage. This card is cute and I hope to make it work.
The Darkness could see play in a Rogue list trying to draw asap and then can conceal this guy for a finish. Otherwise it seems too slow for 4 mana and a board spot. Also, there's too many cards to easily deal with him and if your opponent mills off a candle the jig is up (so it's not too great for mill).
Zola the Gorgon seems like it could be nice. Just look at it as another copy of a minion in your deck for it's mana cost +3 and it's not so enticing, some decks might want to try for it though, seems a little greedy to me. With Rogue DK this card is 2 2/2s every turn, which is cool.
Carnivorous Cube it's cool, but it's slow and could devastate your own plays if Silenced or stolen. Might go into a Deathrattle Hunter so you can pop it immediately with Play Dead. Swallow Sylvanas and get 2 back into play for 6 mana and 2 cards seems legit.
Dragonhatcher is cool. 2/4 draw and play a dragon for 9 isn't so bad. It also repeats at end of turn.
Hoarding Dragon feels good for filling up a hand for strong mill plays. It's really scary to give the opponent 2 coins though.
If Dragons get out of control they will see Dragonslayer most likely.
Lone Champion might be good enough to make a cut somewhere.
Corridor Creeper could be better sometimes in Paladin lists vs Crystal Lion now that I think about it. All depends on when you got it though, and I don't expect them to be more than a 1 of if any make it in.
There are a few cards that will be relevant for wild but honestly I just think it's about 20% of the expansion at the present time. SO I would not invest money at the present time in the new expansion until things settle down. For wild, honestly MSoG and Un'goro seem to be the most prevalent!

Many new cards can easily fit usual Wild archetypes.
Some other archetypes are less permeable to new inclusions, some new cards are trash whatsoever, but you will see plenty of Kobold cards in Wild.
Namely, i'd argue that Carnivorous Cube will skyrocket Egg Hunter to t1. There, i said it.
PS: not that all this is a good argument for spending money. I mean, i doubt pre-purchase will considerably improve the quality of your Wild playtime, as long as you saved enough gold.
I think there are definitely plenty of good cards in Kobolds. Even some that can help make new archetypes and aid existing ones. Plenty of greedy cards here to try out.
I haven't spent money on this game since TGT... so spending on this expac is done with gold only. And I'll certainly sink 2k gold into this one to see what I can get. There's some cool epics here and some deck defining Legendaries.
My only issue is that Priest got so much from this expac again. It's pretty much beyond ridiculous at this point.
You are going to have to buy a lot of the new cards. Any deck that isn't pure cancer aggro and made from the new cards will be going less than 50% i wild.
Every single viable deck i had before kobolds is scrap now. Nothing beats being dead turn 4.
Priest: Although expensive due to all being epics, the Dragon synergy cards are quite powerful especially with the 1-2-3 curve that the Dragon deck can do in wild. They also work well.in a non dedicated dragon deck like Razakus.
Hunter: If you wanna go the cheap route, then you are in luck here. A mid-range hunter deck is pretty good in the meta and the new cards such as Flanking Strike and Wandering Monster are good additions. If you wanna go the Deathrattle route it's very expensive but really fun with Kathrena and Carnivorous Cube. Feign Death from GVG and Sylvanas might be worth considering for the deck but this is a very expensive route.
Druid- Not much to play with here, druid didn't get anything really noteworthy for current decks however Twig of the World Tree is worth considering if you wanna go a combo route.
Mage: I suggest the new Secret for mage and if you can afford it, Aluneth. Flamewaker Mage is very strong with the secret package. Nothing else really noteworthy..Leyline Manipulator is useless for combo since Thaurissan exists.
Warlock- Lots of neat stuff to try out for a more fleshed out Control Warlock deck. Lesser Amethyst Spellstone is just simply 2 auto include along with Vulgar Humunculous for that deck and should be for some time unless somehow something else replaces them. Voidlord is also very strong in those decks and if you wanna go all out try them with Master Oakheart. Also get Kobold Librarian for Zoo-ish decks. No questions. Just do it.
Shaman: eh....the Spellstone may be worth considering if you wanna go the Big Shaman route and copy the Snowfury Giants but seriously I tried it and not worth it...like Echo Mage does the same thing but so much better. The traditional aggro decks got nothing either but Evolve got Unstable Evolution. Shaman really got the short end if the stick here.
Rouge: Kingsbane is a really nice addition to the old Oil Rouge archetype, and Faldori Striders are really great in all types of Rouge decks in wild. There are other neat cards to try but those are the only noteworthy ones I find to use in Wild.
Paladin: Call to Arms is busted. Craft 2 if you wanna play aggro Pally which is really strong now in Wild.
Warrior: Bladed Gauntlet and Reckless Fury seems good in Control Warrior deck.
(edit) sorry for the sloppy post and I know missed a couple classes, wrote this on my phone lol
Wild is basically dead to power creep at this point. I used to be able to compete plenty playing f2p decks with the meager amount of cards I have, but at this point, wild no longer exists as anything except buffed versions of Standard decks.

People like you should stay in standard, with that additude. Wild consists of everything, I see, standard decks, modified standard decks, and old powerful decks, but I also see strange Brew decks, cool interactions, I didn't think, know or forgot about. It really comes down to what you want out of wild. Just recently I got destroyed by hobgoblin mage deck. Seen a warrior do same.
Seen cards I forgot about, which can catch you off gaurd.

Like my green dragon Deck, which held its own.
I don't know what rank or server you're playing at, but from 20-9 the majority of my games are: Aggro Paladin, Razakus Priest, Highlander Priest, Big Priest, Renolock, Tauntlock.

A friend was spectating me, and made comments on how they never play wild, and how wild the games were, so much more variety, like I said I come across standard decks, but not only. Much easier to tech if only few, but everytime I tech something, get something totally different.

If you do your dailies everyday and don't go hog wild with dusting your collection it is actually not bad to keep up with maintaining quite a handful of decks for wild. I am a F2P player, but I am able to have fun with my Aviana K'Thun deck on wild ladder, and plenty of other decks in wild casual.
OT, OP Oakheart is a safe craft for wild control decks, such as lock and warrior. Kingsbane is another one for miracle style rogue decks. The big spell mage dragon lady seems promising for wild, but I don't have it personally.
Plenty of epics are great for wild, just like they are in standard, such as Corridor Creeper & the 4/4 (for potentially 0 mana) that big spell mages use. In all honesty I feel that with the exception of a couple legendaries for wild combo decks (such as Zola in Maly Druid) I think that if you do spend money on K&C it would mostly be to get your hands on the expansion's epic cards, and less for the legendaries.

Thanks to those who answer.
Best cards from new sets always end up in wild one way or another.
Crystal Lion looks absolutely insane, and recruit paladin already has a really high win rate in wild
I'm pretty sure a lot of the new cards will find their way into the wild meta, it has been this way since the formats split
Druid - Twig of the World Tree with mediv is gonna be bonkers if it's allowed to land. 8 mana play Medivh, the Guardian, play Ultimate Infestation... Profit?
Rogue - Kingsbane may create a new rogue archetype and could go into mill to simply avoid some fatigue damage. Fal'dorei Strider could also see play, but I'm not so sure. The Secrets could also add a little spice.

best deck ive build so far is fatigue warrior with the darkness and reckless flurry from cata
Well for each class I would suggest:
Priest: Although expensive due to all being epics, the Dragon synergy cards are quite powerful especially with the 1-2-3 curve that the Dragon deck can do in wild. They also work well.in a non dedicated dragon deck like Razakus.

Zola the Gorgon is a nice addition to Renodecks.
I can vouch for Voidlord in Warlock, there's quite a lot of viable Wild cards in the new expansion.
Wild is basically dead to power creep at this point. I used to be able to compete plenty playing f2p decks with the meager amount of cards I have, but at this point, wild no longer exists as anything except buffed versions of Standard decks.
Call to Arms paladin with the cancer pirates is the most stupidest and broken stuff I've ever played against in Wild.
Cards that i met after playing about 200 games and which appear regularly:
Druid - none
Hunter - Wandering Monster
Mage - Explosive Runes, Aluneth
Paladin - Call to Arms
Priest - Twilight Acolyte, Duskbreaker, Psychic Scream, Lesser Diamond Spellstone
Rogue - Kingsbane, Cavern Shinyfinder, Cheat Death, Fal'dorei Strider, Elven Minstrel
Shaman - none
Warlock - Kobold Librarian, Dark Pact, Vulgar Homunculus, Lesser Amethyst Spellstone, Possessed Lackey, Skull of the Man'ari, Rin, the First Disciple, Voidlord
Warrior - none
Neutral - Corridor Creeper
