I'm currently sitting at Rank 2 playing Recruiter Paladin in NA Wild. I'm playing the deck below.
I have a good win rate against any class except Priest. Before Rank 5, Recruiter Paladin was good against Priest. Now, Reno Priest has too many board clears and too many options. Most of them now are packing Shadow Word: Horror and Auchenai Sout Priest/Circle of Healing. I've seen a lot of Big Priest as well, one reason I've put in a Spellbreaker.
Any suggestions on a Paladin build that is effective against Reno Priest? Or Big Priest? My strategy right now is to just hope they have a horrible hand or that I somehow manage to buff all my Silver Hand Recruits with Divine Shield. I've added two Haunted Creepers and two Piloted Shredders to add some stickiness, but it's not really doing much. I took out Tirion because all my opponents deal with him so effortlessly
Against GOOD priest players? There’s not much you can do really. You could try playing Big Druid I guess if you have the cards for it. But Reno Priest is really powerful, I don’t think it’s really weak to anything when played well.
Hi, i had exactly the same problem playing recruit pala. in recent time i had a pretty good winrate against priest. i play the tempo storm meta report list. in addition i put in another Stand Against Darkness ( often you can bait out aoe with Muster for Battle , then afterwards Stand Against Darkness is super strong) and a second Equality (very nice against big and combo priest). But i see you play with two Equalitys. I would definitely use 2 Quartermasters.
Regarding the mulligan: i keep usually Equality, Sunkeeper Tarim, Muster for Battle, Knife Juggler, Shielded Minibot.
In my experience with Silver Hand Paladin (which is now 2 1/2 months old), the key is to fill the board and buff it (I know, big surprise). For this I included Justicar Trueheart since if played early, you will simply always have recruits on board. And if they stick, you have 4 recruits on your next turn. And I also think that a second quartermaster is necessary. That Card is just really good. I'd cut probably Stand Against Darkness (I found it really hard to make 5 1/1s stick in the late midgame) and a Righteous Protector . Or maybe the Haunted Creeper . It is a really good Card in general, but specifically against priest they always seemed to have potion of madness against me, killed it and kept the 1/1 Spectral Spider for themselves.
But if they have boardclear after boardclear, it is also difficult to win with Jade Druid against Razakus.
I've played Reno Priest in Wild with a Discardlock Warlock and it works well. For any decks that go against Reno Priest, especially decks that play aggressive, you have to pray that they don't have reno in hand.
I went to an aggressive Murloc list that did well until I started losing to other Paladins. Priests have a much harder time clearing buffed murlocs than they have clearing recruits, and murlocs have burst potential which is useful against Priest and most other classes. However, murloc decks lose the board to a perfectly curved Recruiter Paladin deck. After being beaten a couple of times by a Paladin using Corpsetakers, I found the Recruiter list on Tempo Storm, and it's doing very well. I've beaten three Priests with it so far. The extra divine shields are hard for Priest to deal with.
The issue with the high rank in Wild is that it is hard to predict whom you'll face. You can go for several games without seeing a Priest, and then it's mostly Paladins with some Druids and Rogues thrown in. Then back to Priest.
I climbed back from high Rank 3 to Rank 1, 3 stars. Hopefully I'll have enough time to advance the last 3 stars after I get home tonight.
Weird to hear everyone say Priest is a direct counter to Palladin, I have logged 100+ games with wild reno priest this week and my only negative win rate is against palladin.
The constant buffing and divine shields are really hard to deal with.

Try as you may, but Priest is a direct counter to decks like yours. However, a tactic possible is to smack face and hope for no Reno.
u wot.
Maybe switch 2 tempo rogue with Beneath the Grounds ^^
But 2 be honest i dont have 2 many problems 2 catch up with Priest with secret mage....maybe switch 2 this deck ?
Okay, but are there any Paladin builds that work against Priest? Not just Recruiter?
maybe try dirty rat or deathlord to deny their battlecry on reno and razakus
Exodia pally has a pretty even matchup against priest if I'm not mistaken
If you do play it, keep Uther in your opener against priest every time, it's the limiter on how fast you can combo
Btw, I'm talking about double panda Garrison Commander combo

One does not simply beat Reno Priest in wild.
The deck is broken and shapes the meta there entirely. The deck counters aggro so aggro is non existent and the deck fucks with control decks.
Just play OTK mage if you actually want to win games in this priest infested ladder.
the problem: against big priest both cards are rather meh
Edit: shit im a newbie. i wanted to qoute to killanator6000's post
Noway you can have positive win rate vs priest in wild with that deck
.
If someone is sad enough to play razakus priest in wild, you might as well give them the one pleasure in life of victory in a HS game.
Fuck cubelock
Maybe use "to" instead of "TO" ? Had a hard time thinking what card is called TO
