Unfortunately I don't think Wild's Meta ever really changes, from what I can tell I don't even think most of the main sites update their meta snapshots very often, most of them seem to be between 1-3 months old.
Just from personal experience, I'd say Pirate Warrior is easily the strongest deck, it will always act as the meat grinder for decks that get relegated to wild. If you want to try something different, or go beyond turn 6-7. You better be certain you can get a reliable opening hand that can contest the board in the first 1 or 2 turns or it's game.
The somewhat reliable 'Slower' decks include Mid-range Paladin. It's not really the same as The Mid-Range Paladin in Standard right now, although you could throw in the Murloc Package quite easily. I just think people like to reliable flood the board with recruits since paladin has a ton of good buffs and spells that summon them.
Overall it's a really powerful deck that can board flood recruits easily and end the game past turn 5-6 with decent AoE buffs and Adapts.
Reno Lock/Priest/Mage was okay before KFT, but ultimately gets destroyed by both Mid-range Paladin and Pirate Warrior. Plus Jade Druid is on the loose which is further impacting them and the Reno package as a whole. It's really difficult for 'Control' decks to beat +1/+1 minions on curve, especially when they are only running x1 copies of removal.
Newer decks that have began impact Wild include Jade Druid, just because it stops other greedier control decks, and Aggro Druid is becoming increasingly popular because it beats Pirate Warrior with a decent opener, and as mentioned before Wild Pirate Warrior is king.
I wouldnt say Reno priest gets crushed by midrange paladin (recruit version). Priest and druid seem to be the 2 hardest matchups, where priest is always a nightmare. They have so much AoE now, and shadow visions to discover more, combined with kazakus they can really make a game of it. They have 3 AoE that wipe a tarim board, DK kills anything bigger than 5/5 that you buffed with kings/bonemare/steed/tirion and they're quite good at stalling the game out with deathlord/belcher/whatever other taunts they may be running. Maybe I've just been unlucky vs them, but it always feels like such a grind to pull out a win. Jade druid is just terrible, they ramp like crazy, hit their UI or spreading plague since you generally go wide with muster and such (very vulnerable to swipe) then just vomit out jade after jade. With the deck I'm currently using, pirate warrior is actually my best matchup. As long as you can reasonable control the board, you will eventually just lock them out with tarim, steed, bonemare, tirion since most of them run only 1 mortal strike. If you can't deal with ship's cannon early you are in for a bad game, but if u can kill it with a minibot/muster weapon or a rallying blade you're much better off, especially if u can curve into keeper of uldaman to gain a decent board before they just get out of control
I'd say pirate warrior and midrange pally are the two strongest honestly.. these 2 combined for a climb to legend will be pretty easy honestly if you ask me.
those one-offs with low 'games played' are often not representative (might be one guy playing it well), but if you scroll through the first 3 pages dude-/secret-/murloc-paladin and pirate warrior seem a good way to go.
without any tierlists around for kft/wild (to my knowledge) i think it's the least biased way to answer his question.
I don't know if that is, because you're premium while I am not, but all the top lists are standard lists. For example the Pirate Warrior doesn't run Ship's Cannon, so I guess they're from experienced people grinding the low ranks or queuing Wild by accident. Unfortunately the filter for ranks is premium only, so this collection of list doesn't seem very useful to me.
Overall best decks are hard to tell, because there is so many ways how you build your deck, especially for Reno decks. I read above that Reno Mage is good vs control and terrible vs Pirates. However, with my Reno Mage builds I tend to beat Pirates and do pretty bad vs greedy control decks. So I guess overall there is a lot of room on how to build your (especially Priest and Mage) Reno decks.
Most of the top 200 legend players I played against played Pirate Warrior, Dude Paladin or Jade Druide, so I guess these three are the overall best decks.

I like Awedragon's old (Ungoro) Anyfin dude pally deck. It is fast enough, and it has two OTK cards (anyfin) often you don't need the OTK, but with two of them you have a reliable late game. Tarim is a boss. Dudes are great and let you abuse a great hero power early in the game or late in the game. It has enough draw and card generation to keep a steady tempo and it has some reliable removal. If you can hold out against pirates long enough to play one of the two spikeridged steeds, you win against pirates.
I am also coming around to Reno machinegun priest, but that deck is a little more cerebral - but it can also really punish aggro.
Pirates is still good, but there were SO many new anti-aggro tools. Still, with lich king everyone wants to play control which is good for pirates. I feel like pirates falling out of favor is great for people who play pirates.
My only hope is that jades stay banished from wild. I don't see them a lot, but I have got really killed by them once or twice. I still feel like Jades are not really broken enough to break wild. I was really hoping for good things from demon renolock, but there are better control decks out there. anyfin dude pally and other popular mid pallys can hurt uber lategame greedy control decks like demonlock and some of the priest and shaman control decks.
Big priest is annoying - probably not statistically 'good' enough to be a thing long term, like the new cavern quest rogue which needs a nerf just because it is so annoying to play against and this deck is extremely dependent on RNGeezus (more so than caverns ever was).
So midrange pally isn't one of the best decks anymore? Everyone is saying something different lol. I find it great, that wotu pirate warrior SHOULD make an awesome climb pretty quick to legend.

Many people say the best decks in wild are priest decks.
I feel like midrange pally is pretty damn good and alot of people reach legend with it pretty easy, so could that deck be the best?
Thoughts on what the best deck(s) are?
Thanks!

Huh Nzoth Renolock is nowhere to be found feelsbadman.
Highlander priest with inspire minions is very good, before KFT priest are the worst Reno deck but now is far the best one.
I made it to Legend with this deck with an incredible winrate of 75%
