As a FTP player, long ago after thinking long and hard, I took the choice to disenchant everything I had on wild to be able to somewhat had a decent enough collection to make one or two really good decks on Standard.
I think you're doing f2p wrong. As a f2p you should accept the fact you'll never be able all the meta decks, especially at the start of a new expansion. However after playing some time, I am talking about a year into playing the game regularly, you'll be able to play fun decks - even very expensive ones - for your two favorite classes. Plus, if you're dedicated with farming all the free stuff (this means doing daily quests, getting the brawl, getting rank 5 every month; btw I never farm the 100g from wins) you can even play more stuff. I've been playing since May 2015 and only ever spent €21 on Naxx when I started and managed to build up a huge collection.

Does anyone else feel Wild Mode is full of three deck types: Pirate Pirate Warrior, Jade Druids and uber greedy (mostly Priest) control decks? Rank four right now.

On EU server there is little jade druids or im just bed luck and dont face it lol token agro druid is what i face. And yes pirate warriors trayhards for legend... Also there are every kind of priests and warlocks.. But im happiest when i see jade druid :)
Wild is awesome. I play Standard occasionally, but Wild is my home.
Does anyone get the dilemma that sometimes...there are too many cards to choose from?!? I know it sounds ridiculous, haha.
I am currently trying to put together a Reno/DK Anduin Priest deck, but I can't decide what route to go down.
I could throw in the quest and make it an N'Zoth deck. I could make it an inspire deck to work with the 0 mana DK hero power, cards such as Nexus-Champion Saraad, Spawn of Shadows, ect. Or even a Reno Dragon deck, which worked quite well on Standard for a time, before the rotation.

Why not both a Dragon and a N'Zoth deck? I made a deck a while ago build around getting Time Rewinder and Dream from Ysera to use on Reno/Kazakus/Amara etc. etc.
Wild would be ok if it wasn't filled with STANDARD jade druid decks playing here, no wild cards what so ever, just the normal deck you see in STANDARD mode, no idea why these people feel the need to bring it to wild, not sure what their problem is. lol, last 5 games in wild for me have all been against the normal jade druid deck, god I love this game. xD

Rumors are carried by haters, spread by fools, and accepted by idiots.
The thing is OP... we never left wild since its superior game mode in every way and i feel pity for those who dusted their wild colection or/and think its all about dr. boom and shredders.
But i'm glad that standard exist since it took large part of tryhards from wild when it came out and thats one of the reason it is so fun at certain ranks.

The quest in Reno Priest is awful, the last thing you want to do is mathematically decrease the chances of drawing or mulliganing for your Reno Jackson, Kazakus, Raza the Unchained or removal, it's as good as conceding the game vs aggro or keeping Patches the Pirate in your hand as Pirate Warrior. Don't do it.

How he have decreased chance to draw reno with quest? He will have 30 cards in his deck with or without quest...he have same chance to draw it lol that only impact mulligan so you have 1 chance less to get reno cause of quest in your hand...
Sure, at rank 20, then you start to face Ship's Cannon Pirate warriors, Tunnel Troggs, Crackles, and Secret Pala bullshit. No thanks. i'd rather play against jades.
Wild is the real casual mode. You can play whatever garbage you want to meme and still get good results. Last season I reached legend with freaking OTK Dragon Druid. It's probably one of my all time favorite decks (though skulking geist killed the deck though living roots). Now I'm having a blast with N'zoth Hadronox Druid
Do some of you even play wild? Some have absolutly no clue at all. You should try it before you judge. At the moment at rank 4 im facing a lot of standard jade druid, very frustrating. But i love wild. I faced so many different decks in my climb. Some very creative decks and less netdecking. Never standard again. Btw. if you really love wild, feel free to add me.

Typical post from someone that clearly didn't even bother trying the mode.... I'll give you that, there are Pirate Warriors (just like in Standard, but I find them less prevalent since KTF release) but I don't even remember the last time I saw a Tunnel Trogg, for some unknown reason all the Shamans I meet don't seem to know what Crackle is and Secret Paladin isn't a thing anymore.... I'm facing mostly Priests (Like a loooot of Priests,I've basically been farming them with Malygos Rogue),Druids ofc,the occasional annoying Mage and some Pirates.... Seriously, you should give it a try.... Sure you'll meet meta Decks especially when you climb a bit but it's way more varied than Standard....
Standard player here. Should I also consider playing wild competitively?
And, please, before you write the obvious "Yes, in wild there's more diversity, more decks are viable. Do you enjoy your jade dudu meta?", I want to say, that I was glad to see some cards gone. Not talking about Shredder or Doom (I don't mind them at all), but others, which were still very popular 5 months ago (e.g. Tunnel Trogg) or just regarding some decks. I was myself a renolock, but I kinda got bored seing that deck over and over + I'm not really enjoying OTK decks.
Try it, see what you think. There are some troggs, but nowhere near the level of them in STD, and SecretPally is basically dead now. Lots of priests. Lots. Probably will calm down in a few weeks.

thx for the attention
Wild is a lot of fun, I used this Face Hunter deck to reach rank 5 in Wild:
For sure wild is way more fun:D
Mostly playing Wild DK Quest Druid atm.
