Me. Frost Lich Jaina is actually so fun to use in Highlander Mage, specially because I use also N'Zoth and Pyros. So much sustainability and late game from only a few cards which leaves a lot of room to play many early game answers.
No. Wild is awful. So happy to not see Shredder or Boom anymore
Typical answer from someone who doesn't play wild. There's very little Dr. Booms or Shreeders, but you can say what you want if that makes you happy, because you know, facing 9/10 games druids is much better
Well, I played shredder in my Reno Priest this month. And I've seen a lot of Dr.Boom during my climb. But honestly I have no problem with these cards. They are not as busted in the current wild meta as they used to be.
Back to topic, yes, wild is super fun right now. I think one of the biggest reason is the decrease of pirate warrior. I've encoutered a lot of priest and fought against almost every class (except hunter). What's even more interesting is the variety of decks.
Agree with you tottaly. But yesterday i have faced 5 times in a row pirate warrior on rank 8..happy to say lost only 3 with my "super greedy" deck lol
Currently wild is so much more fun than Standard. I used to prefer Standard, but with 19 from 20 games against druids that changed for now at least. And in wild im playing Murloc Quest Shaman, Reno NZoth Steal Priest (with Benedictus), NZoth Hunter (without Reno) and Classic Control Warri :-)

I much prefer wild due to the diversity and to be honest there is not that much aggro in wild due the the large amount of good neutral taunt and heal eg Deathlord which can destroy pirate warrior and many other aggro decks.
As for Dr.7 and Shredder they are not played in all decks and are not stupid op as there are so many more cards to play in the 4 mana and 7 mana slots respectively.

FWIW - HSReplays tracks over 100,000 Wild games each day, so their stats are pretty accurate. Both Boom and Shredder have play-rates between 12%-14%. In the "olden days" both cards saw a great deal of play, but there were only 500 cards to choose from. The Wild card pool has nearly tripled in size since GvG, and both B+S are low-synergy, bad tempo plays in a format where competitive decks are constantly making high-synergy plays which immediately impact the board. Shredder is deemed sufficiently weak that a majority of N'Zoth decks in the format don't bother running it - given the greater speed and consistency of aggro decks in the format, Shredder is often simply a "lose more" card. In addition to not impacting the board, Boom suffers from having poor synergy with N'Zoth, which is a ubiquitous finisher in many control decks, and a few midrange decks, given the increased power level of many Wild-only deathrattle minions.
In general, if you know that you'll only enjoy playing your favourite decks for a year or so, and won't ever enjoy playing them again after each rotation, you are probably wise to avoid Wild. Otherwise, it's a good idea to familiarize yourself with the format.
I can tell you for sure, once you get to R10 and lower, it's totally not fun.
It's the cancerous of all places. Pathetic tryhards.
YES! I was having fun in 10-6 the last few seasons right up until the druid, priest and warlock wave hit. Now I can either play a very small subset of decks or enjoy losing with decks I like playing. I was having a blast being the wierdo pushing a wild quest shaman murloc deck and an aggressive quest warrior deck, no real goal of getting legendary or even 5 bracket, just having fun and now it's just....yea. Exactly.
The jadedruids are coming... and the pirates are there to stay!
There is a lot of cool stuff going on, though! The feign death hunters ... Then, I faced a reno-exodia with a shitload of card-draw, then reno despite many duplicates, emperor and a 1turnkill no-quest exodia..
As a FTP player, long ago after thinking long and hard, I took the choice to disenchant everything I had on wild to be able to somewhat had a decent enough collection to make one or two really good decks on Standard.
Wild is gone for me, forever; that is unless I drop hundreds of dollars to re-craft everything I need; which won't happen unless I somehow become literally rich.
It's not as if I regret my choice, at least not right now. Standard meta has been a blast last expansion, and this one is promising to shape itself to be a good one as well, provided you can afford it.
My best match since I play HS was against a Jade Druid in Wild while I was running a custom N'Zoth Shaman. The game was very long and the Druid played his entire deck. At the end he only got Jade Idol(s) in his deck and empty hand. His jades grew to 18/18, but I still won (he conceded). It was epic, I regret I didn't record it.

My wife did this too. I wish they'd put the packs back up for gold. I feel "people would be upset if they mistakenly bought them then couldn't use them in standard" is pretty weak and has many solutions that are generally easy

I have been messing around with a Reno Nzoth Rexxar Control Hunter, it is not the best but it is really so much fun to play!
Anyone else messing around in wild?
Only renolock here...playing only and ONLY wild :) only warlock...my fauvorite class
Yep. with the cards from KOTFF, I've been refining my Reno Dragon Shaman and my Reno N'Zoth Rogue. Very fun to play.
I need to update them as I've put in and taken out a couple of cards, but still fun decks to play.

Boom is a great argument for power creep. He's a pretty tame turn 7 now.

Honestly the wild pirates don't bother me as long as they don't draw into ships cannon > nzoth + patches with a turn 2 coin or turn 3

Lately I play mostly wild, I find it more fun.
