Played exclusively standard since the additiin of seperate wild mode, hopped back to wild and proi gonna stay for awhile. More sets have made old headache cards easier to deal with and lots of variation. If ur bored if standard come on back to wild.
Wild is awesome, you get to play with all your favorite cards of old and the variety of decks is very high. Although the meta is a little towards the aggro side right now I feel.
Wild is much worse in my opinion, less variation, some old decks that we saw too much of, and much more face warriors and bots and less people so you often get matched with the same guy couple of times in row. Overall worse mode imo
There's a lot more variety in my experience. Sure, some people play the same old secret paladin and mech mage, but so many powerful cards have been released since that I almost always beat that s.hit. Pirate warrior bots are annoying, but they play sub optimally and are super easy to farm good with since they plague casual. The one thing I don't like is how many reno decks I face. 90% of warlock decks are reno, maybe 60% mage and 30-40% priest. That shit usually comes down to did they draw their aoe and kazakus..
Low rank in Wild are filled with aggro for the most but once you go up a bit then the meta is far better than Standard, with lots of Midrange and Control and each class has different viable decks making mulligan choices harder and more fun lowering the chance to find always the same decks over and over.

For what profit is it to a man, if he gains the world and loses his own soul?
@jferrante831; honestly both ladders have a lot of variety now I think, though Wild may indeed have a tiny edge just because it's less refined overall and has a crazy amount of sets to work with. Reno decks are certainly a bit annoying, but it's kind of whatever to me; the only part I find truly irritating is how absurdly good Priest can be, since they've basically amassed every answer known to man.
I think overall I'm still a bigger fan of Standard since I'm a bigger fan of lower power levels, but this season I've swapped to Wild and it's been a lot of fun. Dude Paladin and Control Shaman just feel great now that they have so many things to abuse.

This month first time I got rank 5 in wild. And I agree with you. It's total BS. And it's the last time when I play in wild for golden epic. Only quests with Azure Drake, Ice Lance and Conceal.
I recently started playing wild after crafting a few cards, and I'm having a lot of fun. I feel like I can do more than I can in standard with my deck. More interchangeable cards = more possibilities. A problem I have though is how strong pirate warrior is with Ship's Cannon. This card absolutely destroys unless I have a good draw against it.
I started climbing wild ladder with a N'Zoth renolock. In general I have been pretty lucky with my draw and match ups. Especially against pirate warrior, I've had some pretty insane top decks.
I think wild is great, maybe not the best place for new players though.

My last 12 games at rank 3 in wild have consisted of 4 pirate warrior' 5 egg druids' one face hunter and 2 murloc paladins' high ranks are where the familiar tier 1 decks lie in my opinion. Makes me wish I could drop to rank 20 and play against some of these crazy deck people speak of haha
Oh well, as you know for sure, from Rank 5-Legend everybody play the fast/most efficient decks in order to grind as many games as possible... So yea there it's just aggro-fest. But if you got there then you've faced some more variety in the lower tier.

Let the Pain Speak to Me....
I can't play Wild right now. That degenerate Reno Jackson makes me want to puke.
Once blizzard re-releases naxx adventure for purchase I'll move to wild. Before that, I aint going there, dont have any decent wild cards.
That's Incredible!
am playing wild exclusively since msog got released and its pretty cool ever since

God no. I don't want to see Trogg and all the other cancerous cards ever again.
The best thing about ungoro is that it happened with the new standard rotation.
Wild is the best.

Wild is garbage. This morning I faced 6 standard decks in a row, who had at most 1 or 2 Wild cards swapped in.

All modes are the shit whilst winning. Losing streaks will cure that feeling

One day this game will stop existing. I can't wait.
The only thing missing for Wild be perfect is Blizzard nerf the cursed Patches.
Im waffling on this one. Wild has a higher average power level which actually makes it kind of less fun once you reach rank 15+.
Wild is awesome. :D I love playing against reno decks and pirates bots are great for ranking..so easy to beat them

When I die, I want to go peacefully and in my sleep like my Grandpa. Not yelling and screaming like the passengers in his car.
