Been playing midrange warrior the last couple days to crush aggro decks before starting to tech it to win control matchups a little more consistently. I love Fool's Bane because it is so amazing at board control with the ability to clear up to 4 minions (5 if i had axe equipped previously that turn since it doesn't count as your attack) in a single turn. I don't get the Whirlwind effect from Death's Bite, but I'm already running 4 of them so I feel like a 5th might not be that necessary. So which would be better in this deck?
It looks like you have plenty of activators for Grommash and Berserker. If you are seeing success with Fool's Bane, I'd leave it alone. It's a lot more versatile.

Whirlwind is not insane versus aggro.. it is good at most.. and well, deaths bite do the same thing, but is a much stronger card.. ravaging ghoul does the same and is also a far superior card.. whirlwind effect id a good one, whirlwind id just a bad card.. one is ok if you dont want two deaths bites..
Whirlwind actually is not terrible as a one of, it actually saved me tons of times as it is way cheaper then other cards, you can combine it with ghoul and or deaths bite to make an even bigger AOE, and its a very cheap execute activator that rescued me from taking tons of damage from vancleef. And deaths bite can actually be cleared by weapon removal or be too late vs aggro.
It might be worth just swapping out a whirlwind for Death's Bite. It depends on how important you think Whirlwind is against aggro. In any case, I think it is better than Fool's Bane personally.
On another note, Sludge Belcher is almost objectively better than Direhorn Hatchling and isn't that expensive to craft. Piloted Shredder is another card that is just good in most wild decks that is worth at least investigating, and is not a big dust mistake if it doesn't fit.

You really thought I had something interesting to say at the bottom of my posts?
the point of deaths bite is not to just deal with boards, it can do that but it is really meant to activate your own enrage like effects I thin your deck is really greedy and so the added board control of fools bane is useful, but as a deck I think it needs some major work. have not played any wild midrange warrior myself, although I would describe this as tempo warrior at best. (also why the heck was tempo warrior a greedier and slower deck than midrange hunter when tempo is supposed to be between midrange and aggro or at least generally is) I could make a strong argument that you are playing a control deck here, what with only one minion below 3 mana and all your low cost minions being good for board control, value, draw, or a big late game tempo swing to finish off a game once you have some taunts up. Essentially I don't quite understand how you are teching this deck or what your intention was but it seems like it has gone astray. When you play slower warrior the control matchup is usually lost if you go to heavy on draw and with acolyte varian and harrison you have a bunch of draw. if your gameplan versus slower deck is to hit hard with high damage minions and draw enough that you can keep playing them through a few board clears then this works but I doubt you can play that way in wild right now. I would assume you either have decks so fast they destroy your slower gameplan, or decks so powerful on the slow end that this would get board cleared and removed out of the game and you have no strong matchups. I may be wrong about that but generally wild is like extreme standard, the gameplans in standard get out of control in wild. rogue and pirates will kill you fast enough you can't compete and priest/whatever other control you have will survive past your prime powerspike. and at that point they spike and then win the game.

Just fill your deck with one drops, that is creative deck design, right?
I may have needed to make this more clear but more than just fools bane needs some changing, all the one ofs make this feel janky to me and I would not trust this deck to be at all refined.

Death's Bite is tied with Fiery Win Axe for the best warrior card ever released. It is so good that previous to its rotation, people predicted that its loss would kill the Warrior class as a whole. It can, like Chilly Peace Axe, be slotted into 99% of warrior decks. I would make it a two of, replacing either a Whirlwind and Ichor or a Stonehill Defender.

I think Fool's Bane is too good to be removed, but I have followed some of your suggestions. Does this look any better?
There's a midrange Warrior deck out there? I thought you could only go super aggro or ultra fatigue with Warrior, neither of which ever interested me.
There certainly is. It doesn't see play too often, but it's quite good. The deck is pretty great at controlling the early game through weapons and whirlwind effects and can push a lot of damage in the midgame. Try my deck out and let me know what you think of it. Discussions are usually much better after people have tried the deck out and gotten a feel for it

technically, deathsbite is way better, at least with your deck list. You really don't need slam. I'd rather see you play 2 deaths bite.
I would put a deaths bite for a whirlwind.. but then again i just think whirlwind is kind of bad..
Yeah, a toast!

"Is Death's Bite better than..." here comes always a yes in warrior.
I just thought of the deaths bite king mosh combo :3
Kobolds are almost as bad as goblins, they gotta die (⌐■_■)–︻╦╤─
Here is why I think deaths bite is better here.
1) You are running 2 battle rage and 2 frothing in your list.
2) Your deck is essentially just a slower tempo warrior which means face damage has relevance in most matchups and sadly fools bane cannot go face .

just drop 1 whirlwind for a bite. Ez
deaths bite is the best warrior weapon after winaxe both are insane... and wow i miss deaths bite so much in standard..

Forgive me, friend. I have failed.
