Pirate warriors with Ship's Cannon is a real problem in wild. Other than that it probably is in a healthier state than standard right now as there are at least cards like Sludge Belcher to help you stabilize.
Pirates are not strong in Wild. The best decks are N'Zoth strategies.
However there's so much diversity until you hit rank 5.
Pirates are strong in wild lol. I've hit Legend every month with mine or close to it since June of 2016 The Original Pirate Warrior Deck . Pirates was strong wayyyyyy before Gadget was introduced. I believe I posted this in October after playing with it for months and finally moving on to something else.
Pirate Warrior is not weak (i personally believe that it's a tier 1 or 2 deck), but they are by far NOT as strong as in Standard. Renolock is far from bad against Pirates in Standard already, and in Wild there's Deathlord and Sludge Belcher. Still the nerfs really helps in Wild too, so Pirate Warrior will most likely drop to mid to lower tier 2 in Wild.
Wild is by far the place to go to play HS, more diversity, more healty meta, more viable decks... Standard is only for people that dont want to think on who to craft a deck and just play the way blizz tells them to...

y'all gotta get to seeing standard as competitive and wild as casual...
I exist, I think.
Seems ok.
OP obviously doesn't have any idea what he is talking about.
My bad guys, I forgot to put down that it was meant for newer players...
I exist, I think.
how in the world would that make any sence? new players cant even get the cards
You can! If you push wild on filter, then push crafting you can craft them...

Not sure if OP has played Wild above rank 15.

I don't care what you call it; it's a crap ton more fun than Standard right now.
