well it's not like the deck is unbeatable, sure its overpowered , but its beatable
i am just tired of queuing into 7 secret paladins in a row
i am tired of having to put Eater of Secrets in every single deck i play in wild
NERF secret paladin so that we can enjoy wild, wild is not gonna rotate out, the only way to fix it is by balance changing, sure it has some annoying decks but i am pretty sure that takes the crown, just the sheer number of players playing it is mindblowing, more than 70% of my matchups are against this deck
Its not hard to tech for secret paladin, but as he's saying and I've experienced, if boring as fuck to play vs secret paladins all day. I've never played the deck, but played against it so many times that I could play it as good as a pro since there's maybe 3 actual decisions to be made all game. Thankfully I havent run into one since Gadgetzan release so thats a big plus for playing my reno/shadowform/raza/nzoth deck and having a lot of fun winning or losing
Pretty sure as long as Priest still draws breath as one of the kings of the format, Secret Paladin is fine. Just farm them and drink their salty tears.
Honestly though I expect we'll see a shake up with a bunch of the Aggro and Control tools that got printed (Kabal classes with Dr. Boom and gang seem appealing to me), similar to how N'Zoth pretty much broke the format. Secret Paladin might still be good, but I feel like as we get more and more cards a deck of good stuff is just going to lag behind decks that leverage all of the synergies in new sets.

First off, eater of secrets isn't even that good, I've beaten many players using it. It felt especially good when they played it, eating 5 secrets and proceeded to start spamming emotes, and still lost a few turns later. What? I needed to grind my paladin golden portrait, have you seen how long a control game lasts? So you're probably better off without a hate card that doesn't even shut what it hates down completely.
Also, you're wrong about one other thing, technically. Someday, probably in a quite distant future of 2 years or so, secret paladin will naturally fade and even more cancerous decks will emerge. That's the nature of wild, when you have all cards available, some broken shit is bound to pop out eventually... and fade eventually due to even more virulent cancerous shit.
Eater of Secrets should not be used to tech against Secret Paladin, since if you are even slightly behind when Mysterious Challenger hits Eater will not suffice. They still drew 4 cards from their deck, got a 6/6 and will just smack your face with another bomb.

That's just it, though. Learning the correct sequencing of Paladin secret triggers helps. Same with having at LEAST one Kezan Mystic, which honestly just doesn't make sense because Eater of Secrets is a card. Having one or two Silence cards, learning the sequencing of secrets, and anti-secret cards, it really shouldn't be a problem handling SecPals. I've lost to them plenty in my time as well, but they're really not that hard to deal with. Then again, it's mostly because I play almost entirely a control game when I do play, so... I don't know. I don't have an issue, but those are my tips, I suppose.

Secret Paladin has losing matchups vs: N'Zoth Priest, Reno Priest, Dragon Priest, Pirate Warrior, Patron Warrior, Zoolock, Freeze Mage, Mid Hunter, Face Hunter, Mid Shaman, Raptor Rogue.
