What if Blizzard reprints cards from old sets and suddenly your old cards are standard-playable again? Granted they have said they have "no plans to reprint old cards" (in the same way Wizards of the Coast does in Magic the Gathering) but that is very different than saying "we will not reprint old cards".
Sometimes I find a month where I can more easily ladder on wild than standard. The rewards are the same either way. There is absolutely no reason to dust wild cards, and you will likely regret it someday down the road.
I wouldn't, unless you are trying to make a full-golden card deck. Crafting regular cards doesn't cost alot of dust unless you want to make like 5 new decks. Like most the ppl said, the old cards still have value, even if you play standard format, those old cards can still be played from time to time in tavern brawls and new small expansions.
Key thing to remember: most Tavern brawls let you use wild cards. If you like playing Tavern brawls (even for just the free pack) you should keep most of the wild collection
Okay guys i dont think i want to ever play Wild but i will keep all my wild cards even though i'd get 5,180 if i disenchanted all. Thanks c:. Now just have to find a deck to play.
You think you don't want to play wild. Let's talk about this again in 2 weeks full of either Golem Druid/Rogue or mostly Pirate Warrior. Wild has exactly the same rewards, but it's simply the better gameplay!

This is it.
I read some possibility of classic rotating with old expansions, imagine how dusting your wild cards will affect you if that ever happened.

No, if you plan to play the game for a long time you will regret it. Not a good idea.
